The answers you seek are within you. Everything is within you. All the glory and the power is within you, and the greatest of these is love. You are love incarnate, yet you know it not. Sometimes you feel as though you are anti-love or a love-repellent. You who are love think you are less than love.
Certainly, you have met up with less than love, and yet love carried you through even when you didn’t know what did.
You found the world old and worn when it was the Miracle of the Sun right before you. You feel you stumbled onto Earth, and that you continue to stumble. That’s from only one viewpoint. I say, “So, you stumbled, so what?”
You stumbled upon the right place, beloveds. You stumbled at the right time, and you triumphed. You made it through. You doubt that you have? You are right here right now, letting My words leap into your heart. What more do you want? Money? Fame? You have all the gold right here before you. You have all the gold right here within you. You are the gold you seek. You have it all within you. You always did.
Consider that I am a Mighty Magnet. I have been pulling you to Me, and here We are.
Are We not on a great adventure? Sometimes We face the rapids. Sometimes it is as if we sink only to rise up higher. O yes, beloveds, We ride the waves, and We are the waves and We are the Ocean Deep. We are everything, and We are nothing at all. We are nothing at all but the Wonder of the Universe. We live in a miracle except it is all the time in the world as it is a moment in Eternity.
I have to ask you – what is not a miracle? The fingernail of your little left finger is a miracle balanced with a miracle of the fingernail of your little right finger. You have toes! Imagine that, you have toes! And within you and everyone in the conglomerate you call the world is a heart that thrums and drums, and it is My heart immersed in yours. You sit on top of the world, and somehow you may think you are sunk, that you are here for nothing when you are here – seemingly here – for everything, the known and the Unknown.
You gravitate to the Magnet even as you are the Magnet.
You are the Energy of Heaven, and you are the Energy of Earth, and, all the while, you are My heartbeat churning the delight and beauty of All That Is.
You are the Rainbow. You have come to make the whole Sky Rainbow. The Sun lights the Earth, and you, like the Moon, reflect the Sun. You take the sunlight to darker places, and you cast daylight into the darkness. You eclipse the darkness. You disperse it. You come as a Ray of the Sun mirrored in the Moon of your Self. This is how you are the Light of the World.
Everything in the world is a metaphor. Everything. You are a metaphor. You are the metaphor taken literally, and you are the metaphor taken to new heights. You are the Cosmos, and you are the unseen Infinite Hand of God. Didn’t you know that? How come you didn’t know that? How come you thought you were mere, only mere, when you are Greatness walking around in a myriad of body.
If light can be called mere, which it cannot, you are mere light, sheer light, packaged. You are Infinity packaged. But, of course, Infinity knows no bounds. The Infinite You has believed in wrappings. It’s the contents, beloveds, that are to be believed in. What I made, I made. Heretofore, you haven’t been able to know what’s a Miracle. You don’t know a miracle by its cover.

There is so much light coming into the planet right now that the shift is happening. It certainly isn’t being perceived by the average person and certainly isn’t being reported by the mainstream media. However, you can feel the interconnectedness of people and the awareness that is growing throughout the world. It is a beautiful thing and creates a wonderful sense of hope that the darkness we have been living with will soon be dissipated.
The key is to move beyond the fear of the darkness and allow the light to come through you. Share it with the earth and share it with all you meet. When people see that you are radiant and without fear then it will help them be more hopeful. You don’t have to try to change the world, simply let your love shine forth in your life and be open to share it with others. Your love is what will shift your life and all those you meet.

What you want of Me is what you want of yourself. What did I just say? What did I mean? I mean for you to be self-sufficient. All answers are within you. If the Kingdom of God is within, it is within. The worshipper and the worshipped are the same. That which you seek is within you. You are your own answers to your prayers. You are the solver and the solution. Find Me within you then. There is a tendency to think power lies outside you.
Greater than the individual you is the glory and power that shines in the hearts of all. Yes, I say all. Not just a chosen few.
Let’s look at it this way. All are chosen. I chose, and you chose. We could call it a team effort, yet it was no effort at all.
What do you think it means when I say We are One, and there is no We, there is only I and the Oneness of I AM? Who is talking, and Who is listening? Who is speaking, and Who is hearing? Who is writing, and Who is written? If I exist within one human being, I exist within all. The many is a fractured picture of One. Optical illusion, shall We say? Here is that word We again. Well, it is better than the words you and I as though separation were real.
Can there be Oneness and multitudes? I suppose there can be that concept, and you do have that concept. The all that you see is a pictograph of Oneness. A clear photo isn’t taken. It has so many pixels when only Oneness is. Another name for Oneness is Wholeness, only, in Truth, there are no separate parts to make whole. Wholeness is the same as Oneness. One and One and One and One add up to One.
Why is this important to realize? Because this is Our One Self I speak of. I speak to Whom? Why, to Myself, of course. My Self is none other than that which you refer to as your Self. This Self is not a selfish self nor is it propelled by ego. Ego does not flourish in Oneness. Naturally Oneness leaves the imagined ego behind. Ego cannot preside in Oneness. Ego is done in in Oneness. Ego stays out. It has no choice. Just as a hippopotamus cannot fit through a door, nor can ego enter the portal of Oneness. Ego wears a big hat and cannot walk in, sneak in, or even exist in Oneness. If ego tried to sneak in, ego would be neutralized. So say I.
When you hear Me, when you read between the lines, you and I are consistently the One that ever was. And, yet, despite your disavowal of life on Earth, you love it. You can grumble and shout, and yet you like it so much that you dwell in it, not only physically, but in every other way. You certainly think about world life a lot. You are immersed in it, as if world life is all there is.
The Earth is your dance floor. Let’s face it, you love the multiplicity of life. Where else is there so much to wonder at and be amazed at? Nevertheless, life on Earth is not the extent of your existence, My existence.
I am going to tell you that, despite all your complaints and shenanigans, there is more to life than what “Now you see and now you don’t.” There is a Presence, and that Presence is within you. The Presence is the Vastness of Oneness Itself. You are never without the God within the so-called you Who art your very Self, and, therefore, Mine.

God said:
What you want to hear is the same as what everyone on Earth wants to hear. What you want to have faith in is what everyone wants to have faith in.
You want to know that there is a God, and, yet, even when you don’t fully believe in Me, you want to hear that you are favored. You want to know you are blessed.
As it happens, you may not call Me God or any name of God, yet My Name is Love, and you want to believe in Love, and you want to believe in Goodness, and you want to believe that there is a Meaning to your Life’s Journey on Earth and that the Meaning is good and that you are good and Life is served and that you are more than a speck on Earth for a little while until your body falls away, and you are no longer housed in it. Your desire for Meaning may be so strong that you walk away from it.
You want to hear that there is Great Meaning. You want to know that there is more to you than dust to dust.
You want to know that you are much more than what the world thinks of you and that you, at present, think of yourself.
You want to know beauty, and you want to be here on the seeming wayward Earth for more than what you presently see. You want life on Earth for everyone to be more than the eye can see.
You may be the greatest cynic in the world, and still you want there to be more than what you presently attest to. You don’t want to just hear glad tidings -- you want to see them. You don’t just want to seem happy when down deep you want to find that which may presently be vague and seemingly unavailable to you.
You have had glimpses of love and all that, yet what did it amount to? Something in life has been withheld from you, or you withheld it from yourself, and truth be known, you don’t really comprehend what it is or what it might be. You may know words for it, and yet you no longer believe in words and what they are supposed to convey and seem empty of. Full of promises not kept, you drag yourself around the Universe where beliefs are few and disbelief rampant. You are not elated to be wise to the ways of the world. You know that this vagueness you seek, whether or not you admit to it, is not even-seemingly within your reach, so you say it doesn’t exist.
You are like a disenchanted knight, riding your horse up a steep hill when you gave up on chivalry long ago.
You may think that the position you are in is not an enviable position – your ideals lost along the way.
Here’s the thing, beloveds, ideals live, and they live in you. They are like the water you thirst to drink. You come to the well or to a pure stream, and, then you may refuse to drink. You might rather be thirsty than fooled again. You would do anything rather than risk another disappointment so you decide ahead of time to be blind to the hint of water.
You cannot make yourself believe what you do not, yet you can dare to seek, not exactly believef, not exactly hope, but something within you that wants to be mistaken, that wants the sun to come out, something within you that believes in dreams and innocence regained.
The most disheartened will receive the brightest of light. The most disheartened are the most thirsty, and when they take a sip of water, they will know it has been worth waiting for, and yet they will wait no longer, and they will be strong in giving others water to drink.
It is smart to drink the water of ideals. It is smart to ask yourself to be that which you seek and not demand it from others. You no longer count the ills of the world, for I count on you to lift the spell of disbelief that the world has been under.

GOOD MORNING FAMILY!
When I personally contemplate enlightenment I think of “light” in two ways, one being light as a color (brightness) and the other being light as weight (compared to heavy).
Light as a color is bringing that white brightness of Source, All that is, God into our physical awareness. Meditation remains the best way to do this. Take a moment, perhaps right now, close your eyes, quiet your mind and just breath through your nose. As you are breathing, envision the white light from the heavens above infusing every cell of your body until you feel wrapped in brightness. Practice staying in this place and just breathe. This is connecting with your higher self, your spiritual God self. The next step is learning how to use the energy of this enlightened state to actually create and manifest what is desired. Meditation is the vehicle to enlightenment and manifestation.
The second manner in which I embrace light is by envisioning and feeling the opposite of heavy. I consciously try to be weightless, living life (as much as possible) above the fray of all that goes on with other people, our relationships, our health, and our finances. I find the best way to do this is by distancing myself from much of the daily news and negative people.

Heavenletter #4662 What Lies Beneath the Clutter , August 30, 2013
God said:
Storms are passing things. Just as nights pass, so do storms, storms of all kinds, physical, emotional, mental. Sometimes you are glad that now is not forever, and sometimes you want now to be forever. You want to keep the glory of this moment.
I’ve come to tell you that there is only the glory of this moment. Eternity IS this moment. There is no other moment.
The time that the world believes in is illusory.
So right now, in this moment, as you sit with Me, and you don’t think about the mistake you made yesterday or all you have to do today and tomorrow, are you beginning to feel Our peace? You are, aren’t you?
And, so, I’ve come to tell you that this is all there is, beloved, this which you feel right now. I might call it a stirring of peace though, of course, peace has to stirring. That’s just it – peace isn’t stirred, and yet you feel an enlivenment of the peace. What you are having is an awareness of this stillness of peace within you, the awareness of stillness that you do not always keep even as the stillness itself is always with you.
This is the glory of meditation, the entering into that stillness. That is the idea anyway. Stillness is omnipresent. Your awareness is not.
Let’s imagine that your desk is cluttered. So much is scattered on the surface of the desk that you cannot see the top of the desk at all. And yet the top of the desk obviously is there or all the clutter couldn’t be on it.
And this is you, all of you, My beloveds. You may see so much surface that you can’t see what lies beneath the surface. You may know the top of the desk is there, yet intellectual knowledge doesn’t cut it for you. Clear the desk, and you can see the desktop. You don’t have to think about it. You don’t have to consider the desktop at all. If you sweep everything off the top of the desk into a box, and then pour the contents back onto the desktop, you keep a little more sense of what lies beneath the clutter.
And so, as with awareness of Our shared stillness, each time you have a tiny bit more of awareness, this awareness clings and stays fresher for you. However you come to Me, you come to Me. You take the clutter off the desk, and there you see Me, as if shining on the desk.
I said As if, yet there is no As if about it.
I am the Stillness within you that you can visit any hour of the day or night. I am always here. I never leave. I am with you always. You can deny it, yet it is a rock-solid Truth.
Come closer to the actual desktop of My heart that has been buried under your other concerns.
I am the doorway to Everything and, therefore, Eternity, even as there is no doorway to Eternity and nothing to attach a door to.
When you write down My words, you are in Eternity. Inside Eternity, you do not think. You are.
You are not without mind. When you write down Truth, you are Truth. Your mind is present yet not engaged.
Among the benefits of writing down My words is your silent awareness of Me. The Awareness I speak of is not a thought. It is more like no thought, yet awareness is. Your mind contributes to the writing down and the spelling of words, and yet your mind is on minimum voltage. Something else bigger is at play. It is I.

I Paint My Life In Bold Colors.

GOOD MORNING FAMILY!
What is the meaning of courage? Do some people have it and others lack it completely? Is courage the lack of fear? Courage is something that is difficult to define. Some would say that just to survive in this world takes courage. Others would say that courage is only defined by heroic actions that are worthy of a Hollywood movie. Let’s look closely at courage and the thing that triggers it… fear. Everyone has fears. It is impossible to survive without a healthy amount of fear. Primary fear is the fear of death of the body.
One who understands the eternal nature of the soul and realizes that death of the body is only a transition into another realm of existence will be able to minimize fear of death. This allows one to live in a way that focuses on being a change agent to benefit all of humanity rather than focusing only on one’s survival. To ground yourself means to fully connect and phase with the perspective of your physical dimensional aspect. Your consciousness is not as much a finite clump of energy as it is an infinite current of energy. For this reason, it is easily compared to electricity. Removing the excess electric charge from an object is called grounding. Removing the excess emotional charge that is the result of getting lost in the non-physical dimensions of thought is also called grounding. When we pull our focus back to our physical dimension aspect, we entrain with the frequency of the earth itself. We allow energy to move through our root chakra. We allow ourselves to be fully present here with our physical bodies and physically incarnated perspectives. Grounding is the perfect remedy for anyone who is feeling stressed, triggered, regressed, rushed, overworked, confused, overwhelmed, panicked, angry, clumsy or drained.

It is not simply that it is better to count your blessings than to bemoan that which you do not welcome. If your peace and happiness mean something to you, the thing to do is to count your blessings. There is nothing else to do. Counting your blessings works. Your very appreciation brings more good things to you. Count what you’re opposed to, and more that you are opposed to will come to you. Whichever track you go on is the one you walk.
Even under the most dire circumstances, there is something to be glad for, and this is what your attention has to go on.
No matter how shattering something may be, no matter how much brokenness there may be, something unbroken remains, and, are you not really and truly grateful for that? No matter how hurt your body or feelings may be, there are other thoughts and feelings for you to think of and, therefore, gravitate to.
You may say that that is easy for Me to say, and hard for you to do. Here is what I have to say to that: Beloveds, everything is hard to do when you resist it. Everything.
I am saying it is better to think of something worth thinking about than something that keeps you where you are or drags you down. If you are suffering, do you want to elevate yourself above suffering? Do you want to leave suffering behind? Or do you deep down want to keep suffering by your side and yourself immobile? Do you wish to see yourself as the sorriest person in the world?
Do you choose self-pity or self-worth?
Do you want to be a victim or a hero?
Whatever occurs, you are to wrest the best from the situation. What you are really doing is wresting out the best in you. It’s there. You have it. There is greatness within you, and now you turn to greatness, and you pull up. Do not leave your greatness to circumstance or to others. It is up to you. Why wait for your greatness to appear when you can beckon it to you?
Do you want to be tut-tutted over? Do you really? Do you really want to be patted on the head and hear a kind voice say, “There, there.” Do you really want to hear that no one has suffered as you have? Do you really want to be the star of suffering? Do you really want to be long-suffering? Are you such a proponent of suffering that you will make a shrine to it?
You have two options, beloved. One is to sniffle, and one is to get up. One is to weep, and one is to wipe your tears. This is not a question of putting a good face on things. It is not a question of pretending. The way to recover is to recover. The way to inspire is to inspire. The way to be a good sport is to be a good sport.
Whatever befalls is yours to get on with. No, it is not enough to make the best of it. BE the best of it. If you want to ride a horse, you have to get up on it. If you want to climb a mountain, you have to start climbing.
Be merciful unto yourself.

The eighteenth installment of my original series, "Discovering Religion". Although I have a feeling some of you might find this episode a little dry, due to the large amount of Bible quotations, this episode is a very important addition to my series.
If you've ever debated a Christian about morality you are familiar with the large emphasis placed on the Ten Commandments, while vast majority of Moses' other commands are selectively 'cherry picked' as it suits their needs. I attempt to rectify the fallacious attitude Christians have toward Scripture by examining the Mosaic Laws of atonement and morality, the purpose of Christ within God's Law, and how Jesus defined himself with regard to the Law.
This episode originally started off as a couple paragraphs in the next episode, "If America Became a Christian Nation"; however, I knew many Christians would contest my arguments if I had not thoroughly established the Law's Christians are required to follow. Now that I have set the stage, so to speak, the next installment will be a two-part episode that discusses all the changes in public policy we might expect to see if America went the way of Islamic countries that follow Sharia Law. -----------------------------------

The world! There is nothing like the world. It is gold. It is opportunity. It is remarkable. Who could have thought of it? I did. I gave you the world to house your glory in. I gave you a splendid gift. You were not given the world as a trial. The world exists to serve you and serve you well. The world is not an imposed sentence on you.
Look at the world as a playground. There is so much in the world for you to partake in and enjoy. Why not enjoy? Why not gain and give joy in the world? Let the bad dream go. Let life in the world be like a Christmas tree and light it up! Sometimes you have to turn the switch on. You have to switch yourself on.
Life in the world is not a penance. Therefore, if you are in a painful mode, it is up to you to get out of it. It is up to you to get out of the bed you lie on now.
If it is a bed of nails, get up. Get a good mattress to lie on, or lie on the Good Earth. Embrace the Earth, and embrace life on Earth. What a gift I give to you. Receive it well. The world is filled with all sorts of wondrous things. There is nothing like life on Earth.
It’s like you have been given a huge department store to roam in. There are so many wondrous things to light you up. You can pick out what you like. If you aren’t interested in one floor, you can go up a flight to another. This department store is endless, filled with more and more. There is no department named Pain. That is an illusion of illusions. It is something you made up. Go where you would like to be.
You are in the process of meeting yourself. It’s true. Wherever you go, you meet yourself.
You have many extremes. You bounce from one end of the spectrum to another. Why not bounce for joy! You are alive in a fabulous world. You have a chance of a lifetime. There is always more of you to discover on your way to Me. You have hardly begun to know who you are. Even in terms of the world, you are still a beginner. No matter how savvy you may be, you don’t know anything yet. There is more ahead of you, always more, much more. If you lived in your body for ten thousand years, you are still a beginner.
It’s a good thing to be a beginner. It’s a good thing to reach the depths of yourself as well as the heights. You are a treasure of treasures in My heart. I keep you in My heart for My joy and for your safe-keeping. Whatever you may think, We, you and I, are in a constant embrace. There is no separating Us. In Truth, We cannot lose each other, not even for a moment.
There is no waiting in line for Me. You came to the finishing line long ago. You are right here, right with Me. I tell you Truth, and you tell Me stories. We are entwined. It is not even that you sit on My lap or that We are side-by-side. You are in My heart. My heart is yours, and We are One wonderful heart. There is One Heartbeat, and it is Ours. It is not even Ours. It is One Heartbeat. It is called Love.

My children yearn to know why. Why did this happen? Why is the world the way it is? Why isn’t everyone already enlightened? Why did my loved one leave me?
There isn’t anything in world thought that you cannot ask why about.
Ask yourself why you keep asking why?
And when you receive an answer, then again you ask why? Why that answer and not another? Pretty much, for every answer to why that you may receive, another why is ready and waiting.
Beloveds, what is it you hope to gain by hearing answers to why?
Dear Ones, your mind wants to know all the why’s and wherefore’s. You want answers.
You know, the one who asks questions is very often the one in charge. And when you ask Me why, yes, of course, you really do want to know, and you really do want Me to come before you and account to you, the same way parents want an explanation from their children:
“Why did you get home so late? What do you mean by flunking your test? Why didn’t you tell me where you were going? What were you thinking?”
Let Me ask you, dear ones: Why do you want to know? What gain is there in it for you to receive an answer that leads to another question of why?
Why do you want to know, beloveds? Curiosity? Interest? What do you think an answer will do for you? What doors do you think it will open for you? What use will it be to you? Do you want to be sure I did not make a mistake? Possibly, do you want to check up on Me?
Perhaps you are asking Me if I made a mistake. Perhaps you want to make sure I’m running on all four burners.
Like a parent, I may have to say, in effect: “You are too young to understand. Ask again when you are older.”
When you reach a certain level of consciousness at which you can understand My answer, you may well not have to ask. You will simply know. You may no longer have the question: “Why is one and one two?”
Of course, you can ask Me anything you want, for I do not stand on ceremony. I am not a military general where you simply have to say, “Yes, Sir,” and are not allowed to question.
Of course, you want the keys to the Kingdom. You want to be in on the news. You want to enter the portal of My heart. Your entrance to My heart is through your heart. It is a journey you are on. You are on a journey of Self-awareness. You can reach your destination in a minute or an hour or in a year or twenty or in a lifetime as calculated on Earth.
It is like you wake up and rub your eyes, and you yawn and say: “Where am I?” Or you are asking: “Who am I?” And so you get closer to the question, when all is said and done, you really want to ask and become closer to the answer you really want to know. In a way, a Why question is a staller. There really is more you want to know than: “Why?”
Not to be contrary, I will say now that all questions lead to another question and another. And a question you ask as a child may well lead you to an answer you can accommodate.
The Key to the Kingdom is within you. All your questions may simply be a way to practice using the key.

Wow, today's finally here! September 21st is a very special day. Not only is it my birthday, but World Gratitude Day, AND the International Day of Peace all fall on this day.
It's also the "official" last day of summer, which I used to have mixed feelings about when I was younger... but now, for me it's a prelude for more good times, like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the rest of the holiday season.

Ego is the term we use for the separate identity and the separate identity has one prerogative; survival. Because the ego thinks that its survival is at stake, the ego has become intelligent. It is intelligent enough to know that sometimes a full frontal approach is not the best course of action. It is smart enough to know that sometimes the best choice is to come in the back door. It’s a good idea that you get away from the thought that you are owed or that anyone owes you. No matter what, it is essential that you get away from this thought and how it makes you feel. The sense of being owed does not bode well for you. Even if by everything you know, someone owes you, you must run away from that idea like the plague.
Even when the world says that someone owes you, let go of the sense of being owed. Even when the courts of the land say that someone owes you, let go. It is harmful to you to hold on to the feeling that anyone owes you anything. Carrying that idea makes you feel put-upon and self-righteous. A sense of being put-upon does not feel good nor does self-righteousness. Such thoughts don’t take you anywhere. They certainly don’t bless you or anyone.
Go around in life thinking different thoughts. When thoughts of obligation run around in your mind, they infiltrate your blood stream, and you feel victimized. Victimhood is not to be yours. Nor do you want to support anyone else in his or her sense of victimhood.
Even when someone has promised you something and doesn’t deliver, nothing is owed to you. No one owes you anything. You are not owed anything. Let go of this idea.
The concept that you are owed goes against the grain. It does not support you. You owe it to yourself to lose that idea.
Do not think that I am saying you do not deserve. Everyone deserves to be treated courteously and responsibly. Do not think that I oppose your being entitled. The thing is that keeping the idea of being owed becomes a grudge. Bear not grudges.
Even when someone finally then does pay up, you may still continue feeling resentful as well may he or she.
Everyone wants freedom. Give yourself freedom from the concept of being owed.
Often, both the so-called ower and the owed do not come from a good place. Sometimes they may come from greed or selfishness or from simple misunderstanding. Sometimes, however, it gets to a point where ower and/or the owed come from a desire to retaliate.
What do wars come from, beloveds? A sense of being owed. One or both parties may feel owed. Then it is not easy for the twain to meet.
What is the precursor to the sense of both being owed or not owing? It comes from a desire to make sure you are not taken advantage of. And where does the concept of not being taken advantage of come from but from fear that something that is yours may be taken away from you. Anyway, you waste yourself on any and all the layers of the concept of being owed or owing, for the truth is that no one owns another’s responsibility. You do not own anything, beloveds, and you do not have to hold on to anything including your thoughts and sense of lack. You can release them. You don’t need them. You never did.
Now, when someone does bestow gifts upon you, in addition to saying thank you, give as much attention to gratitude as you once upon a time gave to your sense of being owed. See what gratitude does for you and the world.
Now, here is a spectacular idea. Rise above the idea that I, God, owe you. Have not My children sometimes held that idea? Have you not perhaps held the idea that I have done you wrong by allowing something unwanted to happen that impacted your life? Have you not perhaps wondered how I could let you down in such a way, as if I perhaps set out to deny you your heart’s due? Beloveds, have you not, on some occasions, felt that I am obliged to do better for you? Have you not thought I owed you, or, if I truly loved you, I owed you?
