Consider that, in life, you are on a cruise. The cruise ship stops at certain ports of call, and you look around and enjoy, return to the ship and stop somewhere else and so on until the ship takes you back right to where you started from. This is Home, and this is Heaven.
For a while, you explore the world, and you discover whatever you discover, return Home, and then take another cruise. No cruise is like any other. Even the same people on the same cruise experience their travels differently. Pretty much everyone enjoys his tour tremendously, and yet has plenty of complaints and sometimes wishes he had never left Home in the first place. And, so, on the tour, you pretty much alternate between joy and plaints, as if they were rungs of a ladder you are climbing. Perhaps you are climbing a ladder, for each rung lifts you higher.
Some climb fast, some climb slowly. Nevertheless, in every single case, everyone climbs. Everyone finishes his tour at the same stop, and yet everyone has grown since he first stepped on board this great ship of life.
Some aspire high, and reach their heights. Some have high hopes, and their hopes are unrealized. Oh, well, there will be another time. Before you finish your cruises, you will have traveled a lot. You will have widened your horizons. Whatever the world might think of your trek across the Universe, you will not be the same person who first boarded the ship. You will have grown from your experiences. Just as you cannot step in the same place in a flowing river, so you cannot step off the ship the same as you began. A traveler travels, and a traveler grows, and something wonderful happens.
In life, no matter how contracting it may sometimes seem, there is always expansion. In terms of growth, you do not stay still one moment. The name of the game on Earth is change, and indeed you change. With every breath, you change. Even on a plateau, you are changing.
Sometimes you travel first class. Sometimes you work on the crew. Sometimes you feel seasick, and sometimes you are hardy as an oak. Sometimes, seemingly alas, you fall overboard, yet, on this cruise, all is well. Everyone reaches the same destination. How you reach your destination, doesn’t seem to matter all that much. Oh, yes, the world makes a hierarchy of incipient events, yet it all comes out in the wash.
Status is something that is thought of in the world your body occupies now. Status doesn’t cohabit in Heaven. All the names such as Archangel and such are names instituted in the world. In Heaven, such titles do not exist. One angel fulfills one aspect of love and another angel fulfills another. You might call these responsibilities. All are necessary. All are good. Whether you conduct a chorus or guide a specific human being, status does not go along with it. Status is a foreign concept in Heaven.
Do I not see each of you as One? Would I see less with angels? Angels, like you, spread My light, only they are more focused on it. Angels don’t have all the distractions My children on Earth do. I don’t think less of one than I do another. I look upon Archangels and cherubs alike. Remember that angels are rays of My light, and you, even as you are less clear on this, you too are rays of My light, and My light is My light wherever it appears. I see clearly, and, wherever I look, I see My Self, My Very Self, and I gaze with love.

A great many of us on this earth expect disappointment in our lives. We live painful lives of constriction. And the restriction we suffer from is the restriction of joy. We do not let ourselves get our hopes up. In fact, we do not let ourselves feel positive emotion because feeling positive emotion makes us feel vulnerable to hurt. Most of us who expect disappointment, experience ourselves as a disappointment. We experience ourselves this way because growing up, we felt as if we were a disappointment to our parents or teachers or some other authority figure. We are hyper critical of ourselves. Nothing we ever do is good enough to mean that we have worth and value. The basic fear that lies beneath the surface of those who expect disappointment is the fear that powerlessness is the truth of our existence. This powerlessness stems from the belief that you do not create your own reality. The only people who fear disappointment are those who think that they do not ultimately have control over their lives. In this episode, TEAL explains how to overcome the expectation of disappointment and then explains what to do when we experience an actual disappointment. If there's one thing I've found in my life, it's that things are never quite as they seem. The rabbit hole goes infinitely small as it does infinitely large, and that the only true sanctuary from the mess we've made externally, is within ones own self. Ghandi said "The Demons in this world are the ones in our own Hearts, and that is where all battles must be fought".
So this is a video about how pretty much every ancient culture and belief system believes not only that in Light there is Truth, Expression, Creation, and Love... and also that You and I too are of that Light.
We are the Universe!

Language can be straight on, and it can be as elusive as life itself.
There is no time to waste. There is no time to waste because there is no time. Time does not exist, so how can it be wasted? Much of the illusion in the world that is portrayed by speech or misconstrued by speech, is all made up and sanctioned as true, blessed as true. There is even scientific verification of all that which cannot be verified except as the unverified is wildly verified.
The passage of time that is experienced on Earth is very much like falling through space, and, yet, space does not really exist either, and, yet, space is part of the excitation of life on Earth.
Everything on Earth certainly seems real. It is accepted as real. How would you manage on Earth without credence to the fiction that is called real yet is not? To go somewhere, you have to take a direction. How would you find 3rd Street unless you paid attention? Directions are given, and recipes are followed, and all is fiction at the same time as fiction’s beauty is real and love is real and so much of the non-reality stirs within you remembrance of Me.
Yes, of course, I, too, am in the details. I am the Underlying Reality, and, along with you, I play in the field of Earth. We commune, you and I, no matter what. Nothing keeps us apart. Wherever you seemingly are, I AM. Where you seemingly are not, I AM. Even though there is no where, I am everywhere. Nothing that you believe exists may exist, and yet I exist within everything.
We walk on Earth despite its negligibility. It can be said that We walk on air, the very air you breathe on Earth and that I gave you to breathe for the sake of the body which does not altogether exist except in overt dimension in the world which, in truth, is dimensionless. No wonder you live in a quandary. Slippery is the ground under your feet, for, even as I say all this, there is no ground under your feet even as gravity seemingly holds you.
The only foundation of Earth is I. Evidence of Me is seen, and yet I Who make all the material am not material. And, yet, human life is deep, and human life is worthwhile, and human life, even as it is a passing illusion, serves Reality well. Through unreality, you come to Reality which is I and which is you.
Long live life, this exploration of figurativeness. Hail to life. Ode to life. Ode to the beating hearts who live life and make it worthwhile, make it dear, make it lively, this temporary passage on Earth that is a deep-seated dream, a conclusion drawn, a will o the wisp, is a learning experience regardless. Yes, you learn a lot in this fiction you live. You tell a story, and it is a story worth telling.
There is no up and there is no down for such directions do not really exist, and, just the same, your life goes up, and your life goes down, and your fictitious physical life is for something, and you make it true while it lasts, not only actualized but worthwhile, purposeful, life-defining, even as definition doesn’t really mean anything more than direction does, and yet, and yet, life is so, and life is valuable, and life which is ongoing and unforgettable is forgotten and sinks through the space that does not exist either, yet how important, how necessary this fiction on Earth is to mankind, and to you, and to Me even as there is non-material life greater than life on Earth, for this greater is Eternal, and you are Eternity and Infinity rolled into One.

Connections II (Connections 2) is a twenty-episode documentary television series created, written and presented by science historian James Burke in 1994. It takes an interdisciplinary approach to the history of science and invention and demonstrated how various discoveries, scientific achievements, and historical world events were built from one another successively in an interconnected way to bring about particular aspects of modern technology. It is not an exaggeration to say that, if you fall, I catch you. You do not know how many times I have caught you before a fall. On the other hand, from your observation post, you do see people who, to your eyes, are not caught in advance. They do fall. Events such as death of the body, considered the worst of all, happens and other such sorties as illness, accidents, mishaps, happens. How can it be said that God always catches you when, at any moment, anything can befall. There are occasions such as tsunamis and tornadoes or a car skids.
Who is safe in the world? And, yet, I maintain that you are always in My arms of love.
You turn your head, and you may think: “In terms of my life, God, death is the only sure thing. There are obituaries every day. Death is not idle. Frankly, God, I fear death. It comes announced or unannounced, and yet it will find me, and then I will be no more on Earth.”
Beloved Children, you will no longer occupy a body on Earth.
Anyway, it is not a bad trade. You have been known to cry out for death, willing and happy to be done with it, to be done with your fear of death. In fact, death of the body is a good trade for what awaits you, awaits you in its good time. It is hard for you to yet catch on that death IS life, that there is no end to life, only change in what is called form. The only life that is real is the life of the soul. Your soul never weeps. Your soul grasps everything. It is a certainty that you are soul, and that nothing averse can happen to you. What has happened to you is your faith in the body as if the body is real and your sustenance.
You are greater than a survivor. Anyway, what kind of ambition is it to survive. You really want to live, and live you do with your arguments and all.
Have trust in soul. Have trust in Being. Although death of the body ensues, I always catch you. You can count on Me. You can count on the fact that I exist, and I exist in you, and I have never not existed or not existed in you. In God you trust is not just a slogan. It is the very fact of life. Trust in love. Trust in My love. You can count on it. You cannot count on the body. Don’t confuse Me with bodily concepts. The body, no matter how precious to you, no matter how you seem to depend upon it, is only flesh and bone. Depend upon something greater than that.
At the same time, congratulate your body. It is a little car you drive for a while. Even as you drive the car of your body, your mastery lies in Our unconditional soul. You may be clueless, beloveds, yet you are never ever soul-less. You are Being.

Published on Jan 11, 2014 Marriage is a very controversial topic in today's world. Some believe it is a beautiful expression of love, others believe it is an archaic restriction. But the drive to pair up with someone is imbedded in our DNA. It ensures the survival of our species on both a purely procreation level and on a physical survival level. Couple-hood is the primary social structure of our species. It has been for thousands of years. From universal perspective, everything in existence is you. This means, every person is you. Prioritizing one person over any other person makes no sense from that perspective. This is why as we evolve as a species into a higher vibration towards greater alignment with source perspective, marriage will cease to be a function of society. We will evolve towards polyamory. The contrast of separation would not exist if you held an enlightened perspective, so you would never think to desire unity and thus pair bonding would not be an impulse. The desire to bond with others will cease to exist as the perception of separation dissipates. So, why you might ask is marriage in alignment? Why would it be a good idea to engage in the experience of pair bonding from universal perspective? Because relationships are currently the heart of expansion and the expansion coming from the experience of being in a primary relationship is immense. Your partner will become your biggest mirror and so, committing to them, is the same thing as committing to self-awareness. Also, the perspective that comes along with being pair bonded in a unified couple is an immense vibrational improvement upon the perspective of independent individuality.

How does your life add value to the world? This is a question that can and should be asked on a regular basis. Those who have the most fulfilling lives are those who have followed their passion and created tremendous value in the lives of others. Too often those who have the most to contribute to the world are hesitant to share their gifts with others. They often fear being perceived as arrogant, pushy, or ego-centered if they try to promote their ideas and knowledge to others.
However, actually it is just the opposite. The person who is afraid to share their unique gifts and talents with others is the one with the greatest ego. In fearing being labeled or judged you are cheating others from the benefit of your special talents. You have something to offer the world that is truly unique. People are desperate for the knowledge, insight, and love that only you possess. Why not share it with as many people as possible? In doing so you will create a more abundant and fulfilling life for you and for all those whose lives you touch.

I thought I'd make a change again... Usually, I post a category according to which day it is, but today, I decided to just post on a certain category whenever I feel like it... we'll see how it goes.
So today on World History, we have another episode of Connections 2 with James Burke.

Hot Pickle - Burke starts out in a spice market in Istanbul where you can find hot pickle, recounts the retaking of Istanbul by the Turks in 1453, follows the trail of pepper and tea and opium and the exploitation of addicts, moves to the jungles of Java, then to zoos, the use of canaries as carbon monoxide detectors, how George Stephenson used his consolation prize to build a locomotive, which led to the battle between the Monitor and the Merrimack. Next we visit a sea island off the coast of South Carolina, where children of slaves are schooled. By the way, they picked cotton, which leads us to gaslight and air conditioning. Georgia Cayvan's glass dress leads to the neodymium glass laser, (which was used in the Gulf War). And the armed switch for firing a missile is also called "a hot pickle."
Connections II (Connections 2) is a twenty-episode documentary television series created, written and presented by science historian James Burke in 1994. It takes an interdisciplinary approach to the history of science and invention and demonstrated how various discoveries, scientific achievements, and historical world events were built from one another successively in an interconnected way to bring about particular aspects of modern technology. The series was noted for Burke's crisp and enthusiastic presentation (and dry humour), historical reenactments, and intricate working models.

If you did not compare your life to another’s, you would never feel sorry for yourself. If you do ever feel sorry for yourself, then you do compare yourself to others.
If you did not compare, you would appreciate that which accompanies you.
You could live outside under a tree, and you would not think: “If only I could have a little house.”
And if you have a little house, and you saw a marble house, you would not think: “If only I could have a house made of marble.”
And if you did not compare, you would not think: “Why aren’t my children as bright as Mrs. So and So’s children who win all the prizes?”
You would not think: “I wish I could be as slim and as beautiful as that movie star.”
If you did not compare, you would not bemoan what you see as loss.
And there is the other side as well. If you are prosperous and you did not compare yourself to others, you would not think: “How lucky I am to be prosperous, and my brother is not.”
If you were beautiful, you would not think: “How lucky I am to be the fairest of all!”
And if you were in perfect health, you would not think: “I am so glad to be perfectly healthy while my neighbor is so ill.” You would be glad, yet you would not make the comparison.
If you did not compare, you would neither compare up nor would you compare down.
But you do compare, and vanity is rife.
But you do compare, and there is judgment.
But you do compare, and there are threads of envy or threads of pity.
If you are hungry, you would be hungry, yet if you compare yourself to others who have full stomachs, you might resent or begrudge others their full stomachs when your stomach is empty.
If you did not compare, would you ever be unhappy or annoyed?
It seems to Me that if comparisons were not made, everyone would eat. Everyone would be beautiful. It seems to Me that no one would lack, and all would be right with the world. So it seems to Me.
What would not be right with the world when comparisons go out the window?
Who would know poverty?
Who would not know how blessed he is? Who would not be content with life and know the fullness of it?
There would be no with’s and no without’s. There would be no have’s and have not’s.
One could still be ambitious, yet ambition would not be competitive. There would be no cutthroats. There would be no cops and robbers. There would be no perceived need for them.
There would be no academy awards. There would be no five-star ratings and no two star-ratings.
Every student would do his best in school from his inner desires.
Without comparison, where would malcontent exist?
Now, let Me make clear that no one would be unaware of what another has or another does not have, yet it would not be looked at in terms of more or less. It also seems to Me, that if there were not comparisons and pride, there would not be prejudice, and, without prejudice there would be more for everyone and not less.
Love would take the place of comparison. Helpfulness would rise. Sharing would come into its own.
A whole lot of stress and strain would be removed from the world and the hearts of all.
Comparison, be gone. Earth, rise to Heaven. Angels do not think that God loves another more regardless of what their roles may be. Angels do not covet, nor does any angel feel overlooked.
All will be well on Earth as it is in Heaven.
