Surviving the "Knockout Game" (Gracie Breakdown)

Published on Nov 26, 2013

In this Special Edition Gracie Breakdown, Rener Gracie and Eve Torres share some critical self-defense principles everyone should know in order to defend against the growing trend of vicious unprovoked assaults by cowardly teenagers. Obviously, harsher punishment would reduce the frequency of these deadly assaults, but until that happens, everyone must learn how to break the "Triangle of Victimization" in order to reduce the risk of being targeted. Please share this video with all your friends and loved ones, together we may very well save a life.

HAPPY SATURDAY!!!

My Cup Runneth Over - My Life Is Abundant.
~Jonathan-Lockwood Huie

HI FAMILY!!!

All of Life is Imbued

All of life is imbued with the gentle rhythm of God—what you call the cycles of Life. Food grows in such cycles. Seasons come and go. Planets spin and circle. Suns explode and implode, and explode again. Universes breathe in and breathe out. All of it happens, and all of it, in cycles, in rhythms, in vibrations matching the frequencies of God/Goddess—the All.

For God is the All, and the Goddess is everything, and there is nothing else that is; and all that ever was, is now, and ever shall be, is your world without end. Amen.

--Conversations with God, Book 2 by Neale Donald Walsch Toda la vida está Embutida

Amen

Well, TODAY IS SATURDAY, which means it's time for another amazing episode of ASK TEAL with Teal Scott.

Teal Scott is an extrasensory, esoteric who writes and teaches about spirituality, the meaning of life, and the road to health and happiness. You can find out more about her at her website: www.thespiritualcatalyst.com

As spiritual people, we talk about fear and the ego, as if it were evil. As if it were a bad thing. Most spiritual people are ashamed of their fear. But without fear, there would be no reason to be alive. We cannot banish and condemn fear without banishing and condemning expansion and enlightenment and love. The truth is, without fear, and without ego, we could never know who and what we really are.
In this episode of Ask Teal, Teal explains the benefit of fear and the importance of using it to your advantage instead of downplaying it, minimizing it or ignoring it.

God said:
Rely on yourself.

It is not for you to wait for the outside world to smooth your path. You have to be your own savior. You cannot wait for the world to change for you. When you are feeling incessantly frustrated, the ball is in your court.

It may not be possible for you to change outside circumstances. You may not be able to remove the causes of all the frustration that you are currently experiencing, What you have to do is to change your take on the frustration.

Frustration arises in you because certain events are not going according to your plan or are not going according to your convenience. I do not want you to feel so frustrated and thwarted, and so I ask you to find a place of calmness within you.

Perhaps you need to give yourself a break. Perhaps take the day off. If nothing is going right for you today, do something else. Who is saying you have to fight frustration tooth and nail? Who is saying you have to get your dander up? Who is it that says that you have to continue in the frustration mode?

Throw your hands up then! Get away from it. Do something else. Remove yourself from the situation for a while.

When you are having a day where nothing seems to go right, go somewhere else. Work on something else, or stop working altogether. If something is too much for you, give yourself a time-out. Why spend a day in frustration? Make a holiday of it instead.

If you can’t find a pen that writes, maybe you’re not going to write today.

If you are trying to bake a cake, and you keep spilling things, change your mind. You do not have to bake a cake today.

Remind yourself that daily life is not meant to be intolerable. Daily life is meant to be pleasant. Is that a novel idea?

The daily world may not be working right today. If today is being a difficult customer, make an appointment to resume another day.

When you are waiting for a repairman to save the day, why are you astonished that you may have to wait? You have your priorities, and others have theirs.

Whatever your circumstances, when you find the circumstances intolerable, you may not be making the circumstances intolerable, yet you are the one finding the circumstances intolerable. Walk away, and change your mind. No one says you have to be intolerably frustrated. No one says that but you. Somewhere along the line, whatever you may be experiencing, you make a decision that you must not be treated this way, and you are not going to allow it. The thing is you don’t have to put up with yourself, beloveds, yourself.

You decided on the depth and breadth of what you can take and what you cannot take. It is you who is making a federal case of it.

Beloveds, save yourself frustration. When you must let situations take their course, let them take their course. You know that whatever it is that is intolerable to you doesn’t last forever. You know that sooner or later your car will be fixed, you will find a pen that writes, your ship will come in. Meanwhile, why put yourself through the traces? No one determines that you are at the end of your rope but you.

It is you who has become intolerable. You cannot tolerate your reaction any longer. You really don’t have to make a dire thing out of it. This too shall pass. Pass by the frustration now. The sun shines. Birds are singing.

All is right with the world.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I create a new and more loving story to surround each event in my past.
~Jonathan-Lockwood Huie

HI FAMILY!!!

All this week, I've been posting things that I love about THANKSGIVING. And while I do love Thanksgiving, I can't ignore the fact that there is a "dark" side to this holiday... a side that I'll let this video by You Tube user TOMMY SOTOMAYOR explain:

The heart portal was designed to serve as the gateway to the stars. This heart portal allows the energy to flow from divine source and the heart center processes this energy for the expansion of the human being.

Each human being is asked to give service work for the wholeness and healing of the heart center of humanity. It is when human beings live from an open and healed heart portal that they know and feel their connections with each other as the true multidimensional star beings that they are.

Now today is FRIDAY, but it's a special kind of Friday. It's BLACK FRIDAY!!! It's not really a holiday, but an increasing number of Americans seem to be "celebrating" more and more...

But anyway, I found this funny video about black friday that I think You'll like.

Published on Nov 26, 2013 Black Friday is America's most honest holiday. It is immediately preceded by Thanksgiving, which is when Americans of all races, except the native kind, get together and exchange a mutual wink and a nod that they're giving thanks for the majestic land that God inexplicably bestowed upon them (but for realz, we really scored with this sweet continent we got here) and then have a turkey dinner. But Black Friday actually embodies the pioneer spirit that carried smallpox riddled settlers from one coast to the other. Like raiders in the night, shoppers drunk on red wine and diabetes crouch before the gates of the enemy's castle, or Best Buy, waiting to storm through the breach and rape and pillage and ask if this can be returned if it turns out your sister already has one. America's founders would have been perfectly at home in such an environment. The only reason the Native Americans ever gave them some food to eat is to stop these insane pale-faced, pantaloon wearing, toothless swamp dwellers, from cannibalizing each other every time the mail boat from England showed up a day late. Guys, for serious, have some corn, and put down that kid's leg! It doesn't go in your mouth! Even after the nation had been founded, Black Friday survived every year of the American Civil War, and even the great depression, when there was nothing to fight over but Hoover Bread, and Hoover Pies, and Hoover Beer; all three are just variations of sawdust. Sadly, Black Friday crusaders of today are on average 5 times the body mass of the founding fathers. They are only able to ransack a big box store with three vertical steps or less. But in the interest of keeping an American tradition alive, they will continue to drive their accessibility scooters toward those sliding glass doors, wallets in one hand and 2nd Amendment protector in the other, in the hope of passing on to the next generation those most American of values: the kind with a spinning blue light on it. God said:
Consider this: There is no penalty. You are not in danger. There is no danger.

Yes, yes, you imagine penalty and/or danger around every corner. You do not need to wear a knight’s shining armor. You do not need protection. You are safe. You are well taken-care of.

Ah, but you choose to be what you perceive as a realist, and you feel pursued by all that you do not want. You make friends with it.

Will you, as a favor to Me, please start feeling safe and secure and know that I forever hold you safe in My arms of love?

The world is fraught with change, and this worries you. Begin to remind yourself that the world is filled with love as well. Love is inevitable. Love is secure. Love from Me to you is a constant. Love you have, only, you hide so much love from yourself. Perhaps you do not feel worthy, and so you deny yourself security. You deny yourself love. You give yourself suffering in advance. Perhaps you feel that, by suffering in advance, you are lessening your chances of pain. Beloveds, what you are doing is making sure that you receive what you consider your allotted pain. It is like you make a reservation for it, as if you desire a front-row seat, as if you don’t want to miss the performance.

You do not need to draw any kind of suffering to you. If, as you seem to think, pain is inevitable, why, then, draw it to you? Don’t keep count. Don’t run toward it. Don’t have your arms wide open for it.

You find life scary. Therefore, you are scared. Yet fear does not protect you. Why do you act as though it does? Fear may well actually draw to you that which you fear.

Give up on suffering. You have learned suffering. You have been taught it. You were a good learner. You believe pain is inevitable, and so you lie in wait for it, as if lying in wait is somehow a repellant, or, perhaps, that being alert to suffering, suffering will pass you by as a courtesy or as a delaying action. But the thing is, you tend to wait for the other shoe to fall. What you wait in watch for, often occurs, or you call it to you, and it comes.

Perhaps you consider the world a jungle. Think a different thought. What you think matters. It matters a lot. What you think is like a map you follow.

Better to take initiative and chart your course. Draw your own course. Call it a map of your life.

Draw pictures of what you welcome to your side. Write descriptions. Immerse your thoughts in what you desire. Believe in desires at least as much as you believe in bad news.

Change your ideas. Have different ideas. Offer yourself treats every day. Look at the sun. Watch the clouds roll by. Immerse yourself in the life you want. Create it. From the silence of your love, create your life.

To some degree and much to your protest, you do. Life is not all cards that are dealt you. Even when you have been dealt a rough hand, it is up to you how you are to deal with it. Even when you have real trouble, you have choices to make. You can choose to elevate your life and the lives around you, or you can feel sorry for yourself and take the line of least resistance. Or you can stand tall and be strong in the glory in which I made you.

A Vision for Gratitude We see a world where our gratitude shines forth, like a beautiful, priceless gem; where we are joyful for all of the good things that come to us, and where we are equally joyful for all the adversity that presents itself because we have learned, beyond all doubt, that our challenges and problems are always accompanied by great gifts. We see a world full of happy people, helpful people, people playing at their work and working at their play since all anger, resentment, frustration and the like has been replaced by an appreciation for all that we have in our lives. And finally, we envision a world where we're all aware of the direct relationship between our gratitude and our power; where we have realized that when we acknowledge the manifestation of our intentions and prayers by expressing our gratitude, we are actually completing the last step in a cycle that started long ago with a desire to create something for ourselves, as a yearning to experience something new, as a call to become something more. For we now know that subtly secreted within the sweet feeling of gratitude lies the forward motion of our evolution and the revealing of who we really are. --The Intenders of the Highest Good; Vision Alignment Project

Heavenletter #4716 The Only Thing to Do , October 23, 2013

God said:
Beloveds, what is there to do but smile and laugh! Can you think of something better to do?

Anything else you think of, what is the point of it? To complain, grumble, point out the errors of the world, for what purpose? To deflate your spirit and the spirit of others? To set you back on a rack you are tied to?

It is not true that when you cry, you cry alone. Not at all. All the world is pulled down and cries with you. One end of the see-saw does not stay high. All of life staggers or trips and falls. You have a responsibility. You are the fulfiller of yourself.

You have light and upliftment to give, and you must give them. Keep yourself upbeat, and so you set the gong for the world. If you want to do good for the world, this is how you do it. No longer impart bad news. Not even once more do you tell about your aches and pains. Not even once more do you tell who hurt your feelings. Not even once more do you allow yourself to express disgruntlement. Just don’t say it. Don’t stir the pot of dissatisfaction. Don’t let toils and troubles bubble.

Can I say it more clearly?

What makes you adhere to old outlived habits? You have no obligation to them. Just as you would not knowingly mumble, don’t knowingly grumble. Consider that with your words and moods, you pull the world up, or you pull the world down.

Enough, I say. Enough.

For one day can you speak well of someone or something, or be silent?

When you take the trash out, you don’t spill it all over and go over each piece before you throw it out. Simply throw out of the trash of your thoughts. Be done with them. Don’t keep a list.

Now, you may say: “But, God, I want to be an honest person and be true to myself.”

For Heaven’s sakes, the complainer is not you! He is a cartoon of you. You don’t have to keep repeating and repeating what was. Let it no longer be. Be a good-natured person, and let the rain that falls roll off you. Don’t harbor the rain. Don’t keep splashing rain all over you and over others. There is nothing that says you have to collect the occasions of rain and report them. You can just as well be a weatherman of sunshine and fair weather.

You know that the sun comes out. You know that rain stops, and clouds fade away. You know these facts just as well as you know negativity. You don’t have to be a journalist who hunts the negative and the sensational. You don’t have to be the first to know this and that and all the details of others’ troubles any more than you have to record your own. Let the troubles go. Keep the good like a potted plant and let new shoots come up.

When flowers fade, you give them back to the ground from which they came.

Who said you are to keep old newspapers on the shelf?

Just as an old refrain may repeat itself over and over within your head, so may old unhappy news do the same. A thought goes over and over within you, and it’s not pleasant. Substitute a pleasant thought. Do something that jump-starts you out of a rainy mood.

You can do it. And you must do it. This is the only thing to do, and I rely on you to do it.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!

I have continuous and unlimited access to the infinite and eternal energies of Spirit.
~Jonathan-Lockwood Huie

HI FAMILY!!!

Keep faith in miracles. They will appear, but only when you are ready to accept and act on them. Realize that you must do the preparation to purify your own intentions in order to ensure that whatever miracles manifest will be used for your highest and best good. Continually take a look at your motivation. As long as your motivation is primarily self-serving or selfish in any way there will continue to be blocks.

This is a time for the focus to be on creating tremendous benefit for the entire planet. When you focus on the benefits you can provide to others and how you can be of service then manifestation is easy. It is completely dependent upon your motivation and the purity of your intention. For your intention to be of benefit to all you must include yourself in the equation; however, the mentality of separation that the ego thrives on is what prevents the most amazing miracles from manifesting. When you truly see yourself as being one with all of creation then your pure intentions can manifest instantly and have a wonderful impact on the world.

Heavenletter #4715 Life Is a Surprise, October 22, 2013

God said:
No one knows what tomorrow will bring. But who is it who says you have to know? What makes it better to know what is going to happen tomorrow than it is not to know? Why does certainty seem right and uncertainty doesn’t?

What is certain is: If you were born, you were meant to be born. And when you live on Earth, you were meant to live on Earth. And you are meant to learn and grow. There is not a minute really that you stay just the same. Growth is the name of the game.

It’s really true that you do become wiser.

If you could live your life over, would you make the same choices? Probably. Even when looking back and you regret some choices you made, you might make the same choices again that you made before and now rue. At that time and place, you were up for that choice. Whether wise or sorry in hindsight, it would seem that you followed a star not really knowing what you were doing. Most likely, you were in a kind of daze. You took a gamble, as in life you must, and it came out the way you wanted, or it didn’t. Sometimes it may seem to you that your life was rigged.

Anyway, you can’t turn back. This life is a one-time opportunity. Every day is a one-time opportunity. Besides, you can’t really trace the course of your life any more than you can predict it. Sure, one thing seems to lead to another, but does it? In Truth, there is no sequence, and there is no consequence. It certainly seems so, but, then again, what do you know? You mostly guess, and tomorrow you will guess again.

Life is a surprise. It is a surprise a mile a minute. Even when life seems to turn out the way you expected, it is a surprise. Life seems to have you twisted around its little finger, and it would seem you do life’s bidding.

No one knows how he or she is going to turn out, as if there is such a thing as turning out. No one knows how any another will turn out. Nobody knows.

Is there a conclusion to how people turn out, and in whose estimation? You see what you see, yet that doesn’t mean you know the half of it.

The surface is only the surface, and the surface may not reveal the depths. Whatever you think you may know a lot about, you may know little. In terms of the surface of life, there is little to know. Now, the depths, that’s another story. The depths are endless. There is no ending. The path continues to wind and unwind.

From the human point of view, life is perilous. Even so, there is no peril. You lead a sanctioned life. There is truly no end to life, so what can you be in danger of? Naturally, you think of many dangers, and those are your fears. All fears are unfounded. Your deepest fears are unfounded. There is no foundation for fear. Fears are a kind of temperature changes, that’s all. Be wary of your wariness.

Life is a shoe-in. You just have to meet up with it, and life will take you on your merry way. There are no close calls even unto death of the body. All that you fear is a surmise. It is a supposition. Even when you lose a bet, you don’t miss a strand of life.

Finally, I ask you: Why does winning seem better than not winning? What do you win when you win?

As Thanksgiving gets closer, we must not forget the true history and meaning of the Thanksgiving Holiday. And also, since it's WORLD HISTORY TUESDAY anyway, I'm posting this short video of Thanksgiving's history, which I actually posted 2 years ago...

Uploaded by HistoryDocs on Nov 22, 2011
Everyone knows the story of the first Thanksgiving, when a small group of Massachusetts's settlers celebrated making it through the year by feasting with their Native-American neighbors. But the story of Thanksgiving goes back much further, to ancient harvest festivals, and the holiday has been transformed over time into today's celebration marked by family, food and football. Discover how New York was the first state to officially declare a day of Thanksgiving, and how President Lincoln first made Thanksgiving a national holiday in 1863. Explore period accounts and art that bring Thanksgiving celebrations through the centuries to life, and find out the origins of traditions like the Macy's parade.

1 cooked turkey liver, finely chopped
3/4 cup turkey stock
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degree F (175 degree C). Spread the white and whole wheat bread cubes in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes in the preheated oven, or until evenly toasted. Transfer toasted bread cubes to a large bowl.
In a large skillet, cook the sausage and onions over medium heat, stirring and breaking up the lumps until evenly browned. Add the celery, sage, rosemary, and thyme; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes to blend flavors.
Pour sausage mixture over bread in bowl. Mix in chopped apples, dried cranberries, parsley, and liver. Drizzle with turkey stock and melted butter, and mix lightly. Spoon into turkey to loosely fill.

Heavenletter #4714 As the Sun Shines on You , October 21, 2013

God said:
What is the matter today? Does something have to be the matter? You do think so, however. You do tend to greet your mornings with the possible thought: “What do I have to take care of today? What do I have to fend off? What is going to make my day difficult today? What ongoing difficulties do I have that need my attention?”

Haven’t you tended to have a touch of: “Woe is me.”

May I suggest that you wake up this morning with the thought: “What wonderful things are going to happen today! What wonders will I see, and what wonders will God perform, and what wonders will God perform through me?”

Of course, perform is not the right word. There is no performance that I speak of. The word I seek is living. I, God, say: “What wonders will you and I live on this day? What wonders will We observe and absorb? What wonders will brighten this day for Me and for you and for everyone who stands before the world today?”

Do you not stand before the world? And how will you greet the world today? The world awaits you. I, too, look forward to your debut today. How do you come on stage? Come skipping. Come on stage brightly. Not exactly with fanfare but with alacrity. Dance onto the stage. Present yourself to the sun. Shine equally on the sun as the sun shines on you.

And how do you exit the stage at nightfall? The same. And how do you await sleep? Wonder what beautiful dreams you will have. Wonder about the deep rest you will gain. Wonder about the vast renewal of energy. Wonder about this time in bed as you refuel yourself. Wonder about all the wonders that are yours, yours to be, and yours to find.

Consider that you go to a store that you call Life. What are you looking for? What will you shop for today? What will you buy? What offers itself to you today?

And remember where I am and Who I am. Why, I am you, and I am within you, and you are within Me. What a world this is where God abides, and you abide too. Seemingly on your own, absolutely filled with free will, and yet contained in My arms, My heart, My thoughts, filled with My Love Abiding.

What adventure, what joy, what merriment, what walk do We take today through the world? What Vastness do We seek, and what Vastness do We find? The Vastness is always within Us, and it is deep. How deep is Our Vastness today? What path do We take, and where does it take Us when We are Vastness Itself?

Perhaps today is the day you grasp that there is nothing going on except within you. You are the Everything of Life. You are the fire, and you are the embers. You always were, and you always are, and will be. The journey is imagined, beloveds. It is beyond imagination, and yet it is imagined. Many think that the action is Life Itself, and yet it is not the action. It is Being that is Life Itself. We are Being, and We are never not Being. The One Sun seems to rise and to set, and yet the Sun is always beaming its light in perfect harmony. Stars come out at night to remind you that Light Is Always, and to remind you, yes, you, that you are the Light of the World. Light is ever-shining. It can only seem to dim when your eyes are closed, or when your heart is closed, or when you kid yourself into taking illusion for Reality.

There is One Reality, and that is you, and it is I. We, One, the Whole Universe, the Being, the Unperceived perceived, the Unknown realized are All That Is.

So, what is Thanksgiving? Well, according to Wikipedia...

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is a holiday celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November. It has been an annual tradition since 1863, when, during the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of "Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens", to be celebrated on Thursday, November 26. As a federal and public holiday in the U.S., Thanksgiving is one of the major holidays of the year. Together with Christmas and New Year, Thanksgiving is a part of the broader holiday season.

The event that Americans commonly call the "First Thanksgiving" was celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in 1621.[2] This feast lasted three days, and it was attended by 90 Native Americans (as accounted by attendee Edward Winslow) and 53 Pilgrims. The New England colonists were accustomed to regularly celebrating "thanksgivings"—days of prayer thanking God for blessings such as military victory or the end of a drought.
Today, in this 1st day of Thanksgiving week, I posted this cute little documentary from 1951 about this holiday.

Published on Jul 9, 2012
This film relates the experiences of a middle-class American family when they are stimulated to review the things for which they are thankful.

Bill Johnson, a garage mechanic, comes home from work on the day before Thanksgiving to find his children completely disheartened by their mother's announcement that the family cannot afford a turkey for the holiday. Shocked at his son Dick's statement that there won't be much to be thankful for, Bill gently reminds him and the other children that while turkey on Thanksgiving is a great American tradition, its presence sometimes obscures the real meaning of Thanksgiving.

When Dick concedes that modern Americans are a lot better off than the Pilgrims, the others suggest that they all make a list of the things for which they are thankful. Their father cautions them to give serious thought to their list, which should include only the things they feel deeply. He then watches them mulling over their thoughts as they play during the evening.

At the Thanksgiving dinner table, each member of the family offers part of the thanks. Tommy is thankful for plenty of food and free library books to read. Susan mentions clothing, Sunday school, and her family. Dick gives thanks for a chance to get an education and a chance to play. Bill thinks as he looks at Baby Janet that she must be thankful in her own way for fun in the bathtub, playtime, and security. Mrs. Johnson is thankful that her children can grow up healthy and strong, that she can guide them, that her family can have many of the modern conveniences, that she can have freedom of speech, and that Mr. Johnson's job brings peace of mind. Bill Johnson then finishes the list with the things for which he is thankful: a home with privacy, freedom from fear of political reprisal, the right to pick a vocation in which he is happy, freedom of opinion as represented by his newspaper, the right to vote, and the belief that family unity can become world-wide unity.

All this week, I'm also posting up some recipies of foods common to thanksgiving dinner. So, here's a recipie for turkey.

Sherry's German Turkey Recipe - Allrecipes.com:

Prep Time:
25 Min Cook Time:
4 Hrs Ready In:
4 Hrs 25 Min

Original Recipe Yield 18 servings

Ingredients

1 (18 pound) whole turkey, neck and giblets removed
1 medium onion, peeled
1 large carrot, peeled
1 stalk celery
1 apple, stem removed
1 orange
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 teaspoon soul food seasoning
1 pound sliced smoked bacon
1 turkey sized oven bag

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Rinse the turkey, pat dry and place in a large roasting pan. Insert the onion, carrot, and celery into the cavity of the bird. Poke holes in the apple and orange so they will release their juices, and stuff them into the bird. You may have to cut some things in half to get them all inside. Spread oil all over the outside of the bird, and season with salt, pepper and soul food seasoning.

Place the turkey into an oven bag, and set back into the pan with the breast facing up. Lay strips of bacon over the entire top. Close the bag.
Roast the turkey for about 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 180 degrees F (82 degrees C) when taken in the thickest part of the thigh. Let the turkey rest for 10 or 15 minutes before carving, and use the drippings in your favorite gravy recipe.

Footnotes

Tip

To get ahead for the big day, you can prepare turkey the night before, then refrigerate and roast the next day.

Heavenletter #4712 Claim the Peace of God , October 19, 2013

God said:
Wherever you are, whomever you are with, no matter what is going on, will you come from a place of peace deep within you? This place exists, beloveds, and it exists within you. Gravitate to this place. It is yours. It belongs to you. I gave it to you. It is yours forevermore.

This special place is for you at every moment. It waits for you. It is always here within you. This place doesn’t move. You simply have to settle down to it. You have to claim it. It is like you have an especially reserved seat at a wedding dinner. The seat waits for you. It is absolutely reserved for you and no one else. You have to find it. Once you find it, you sit in it. Open yourself to peace.

Here you are settled deep into the peace of God. Whatever noise is going on, whatever disturbance there may be in the world, you are out of reach in your seat of peace. Be here. Be here always where you are Mine and you claim the Peace of God.

You can always meet Me here. I am always always always waiting for you to stop in and to stay.

What makes you think that you ever have to leave My warmth and succor? You can simply stay. You don’t have to wander in and wander out. Why would you ever choose to be anywhere but with Me? Stay with Me in peace, and peace is yours.

You have had enough wildness in life. You have been peremptory. You have had enough of it. You have had enough of shock, upset, awkwardness. Now, have enough of peace, another word for settledness, country roads, peaceful terrain, where you are sitting in green pastures and are out of the fray. Do you really want to be in the fray? Do you really want to be in the middle of rushing and upset?

What are you saying when you leave the green pastures of equanimity? What are you trading the peace of My heart for? Do you really want the excitement of wildness over the settledness of being at peace?

Peace is enlivening, beloveds. In the midst of peace, you are in the glow of love, and, tell Me, if you please, what serves you better than this? Would you choose excitation over peace? May you would, yet what price excitement? It comes at a price, beloveds. It comes at the price of peace.

Well, oh, yes, this isn’t the first time you have chosen glitter for gold. May it be the last!

You are not running away when you decide on peace over roughness. You never had to choose war over peace in terms of your life. Do not think you are supposed to fight peace. Do not think this is doing the right thing.

You are not brave to rush into the fray. Who needs you to be ready for anything that rushes in to disturb your peace? Decide where your courage lies, beloveds. The world is not to choose your meeting place. You choose the life you desire. This is not a decision to be left up in the air. You do not always have to be game for whatever clouds are on the horizon.

Do you really think you serve yourself and others by being in high gear? What gift would you love to give others – franticness or peace, upset or calmness? Beloveds, even in the midst of external war, you can be calm. You can choose the peace that underlies you.

Come to stillness. In stillness is the power. From stillness comes success. I intend success to be yours, beloveds. I never wanted anything else for you. I will accompany you to where the green grass grows, and skies are blue, and your heart rests in Me.

HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

I chose to release all my attachments.
~Jonathan-Lockwood Huie

HI FAMILY!!!

Become familiar with the love that soars within you, and bring it out where it can be seen, can be gloried in. It is intended that the world swim in love, that oohs and ahs of love spill onto the world and revitalize it. Enough has been taken from the world. Now it is time to give. Ultimately, it is to yourself that you give. Love is a magic trick wherein you bless all and find yourself the most blessed.

--Prosper in Love by HeavenLetters

The twentieth installment of my original series, "Discovering Religion". This episode begins the miniseries on morality by comparing and contrasting concepts like subjective/objective and secular/biblical moralities. Now that we have exposed God's true moral nature and found that our sense of right and wrong comes from somewhere outside the Bible, we can begin to explore the possible evolutionary origins of morality and how science informs our shared principles of conduct. Christians and other monotheists absolutely HATE the idea that morality can be based in science and I am very much looking forward to producing these episodes. However, please note my videos are extremely time-consuming to produce and unfortunately I do not have a lot of free time. I try make videos as often as I can, so I hope everyone understands why such time passes between episodes. Thank you all for your support of this series, I very humbled by all the attention my channels has been getting recently. I very much appreciate your interest in what I have to say!

Heavenletter #4713 Make No Excuses, October 20, 2013

God said:
This thing of saying you are doing your best is too often an excuse. You are saying, “I can’t help it.” It is kind of like throwing your hands up in defeat. It’s kind of like saying: “I would do better if I could.” And then you have a list of reasons why you aren’t doing all you are truly capable of.

Look, I have told you that you are doing the best you can at any moment, yet I want to tell you there is something different when I say it than when you do. You are really telling a tale about yourself, that you are not coming up to par in your own eyes. At the same time, you are letting go of responsibility that is yours.

Yes, of course, sometimes you ask too much of yourself. This is true. At other times, you do not begin to ask enough of yourself. You take the easy way out. Saying you’re doing the best you can is kind of like a palliative, something you give to yourself to make you feel better, only it doesn’t really work.

Of course, there are times you really are doing all that you can do. And there are times when you are running way. This is an emotional kind of subterfuge. It is really better that you do not kid yourself. Somehow, when you run away, you are not making a decision. There is something you want to escape from, and you find an excuse to latch onto.

Somewhere within you, you may feel you deserve special dispensation. This may be somewhat like calling yourself not good enough. Maybe you are putting yourself down and making yourself less.

Every human being, at one time or another, has fallen short. Everyone probably has bitten off more than he can chew. At one time or another, every human being has welcomed an opportunity to abscond from responsibility.

It’s also true that sometimes, you want to run away from responsibility, and you fall back on: “I can’t do it all.

” On one day a week, you are meant to rest, to take a breath, to ease yourself into a more restful rhythm. I never said to take off every day from responsibility that is yours. I don’t recall telling you to loll around seven days a week. I don’t recall telling you, across the board, to retire, as it were.

It’s likely I would tell you to keep going.

It is only an idea that makes you say you can’t keep up, for, of course, with the right sentiment, of course, you can keep up. You can even exceed far beyond what you have allowed yourself. Ah, yes, thought precedes action just the same as thought precedes inaction.

Sometimes you wear yourself out by not making a decision and moving forward.

To let yourself off the hook or not to let yourself off the hook, that is the question, and that is the question that tires you. It would seem that there are times when, whatever decision you make, you don’t buy it. You may feel that you are a scalawag, that you don’t merit taking care of whatever it is, and you don’t merit not taking care of it either.

Oh, yes, sometimes you vacillate, and you put yourself in a bind regardless. You make it so you can’t win, and how you tire yourself, how your wavering wears you down.

Somehow you want to come to the place where you do not feel guilty. Guilt and responsibility are not the same. Do whatever it is, or don’t, and keep guilt out of the equation. You can’t ride two horses at the same time, beloveds.

Ask Teal Website - http://www.askteal.com
If you have spent any time exploring the world of spirituality or self-help, you have most likely discovered that spiritual teachings and spiritual teachers themselves can be frustrating because they present such contradictory teachings.
Spiritual teachings are contradictory because spiritual teachings must take into account a multi dimensional universe. The rules change on each dimension. What is true for one dimension is not necessarily true for the next.
We need to let go of truth, because truth is subjective. We need to start caring more about how things feel to us personally. If we feel relief and follow our joy, we will find whatever spiritual teaching is right for the vibration that we are currently in. Listen to the spiritual teacher that makes you feel good. That is your internal guidance system telling you that the vibration they are offering you, is an improvement on your current vibration. In this episode, Teal explains in depth why spiritual teachings can be so contradictory and what to do about it. Kuan Yin's Mantra (c) 2002 Lisa Thiel - used by permission http://www.sacreddream.com

Heavenletter #4711 Light of Heart, October 18, 2013

God said:
Be light of heart. What else makes sense? Soberness has its merits, yet lightness of heart blesses you. Seriousness does not so much. It would seem that anyone can be serious about all the twists and turns of life, and, yet, how many of My children can go on about their merry way when they have seemingly struck out?

Seriousness holds on tight to life. Lightness does not altogether let go of it perhaps, yet lightness says:

“I don’t have to take outcomes as a conclusion of me. Even if I did, I know by now that life goes on a continuum. There is no end to my life, so I might as well make merry. There is enough gravity on Earth, and not enough lightness. The first day of school is taken seriously, as if it were momentous. The first day of school is only the first day of school. Pretty much everyone has a first day of school, and the first day of school may well be taken utterly seriously, by parent, teacher, and wobbly-kneed child. Why? What makes a straight face better than a smiling one? Who says somber and serious are the ways to go?

“What’s the matter with having light-hearted joy? Light-hearted joy simply means freedom from heaviness. From now on, I will take light-heartedness to heart.

“From this day on, my priority is joy. I don’t want more heaviness. I want more joy, and I want to make more joy.

“I won’t make light of another’s seriousness, no, simply my own.

“Death is an everyday occurrence. Death is no surprise. It is not of itself an alarming thing. I don’t have to be alarmed by it. What do I give up with the death of the body but my body? Death of the body does not separate me from my loved ones, only I do worry about my loved ones, even as I know, I will see this whole separation thing quite differently once I’ve lived through death.

“May I let life and death be an experience, every aspect an experience, in sickness and in health, never the Oneness of myself to part.

“I can call myself a soldier of fortune, and so I am a trouper, and so I am fortunate. My lot as a human being this time around is fortuitous.

“I remind myself that nothing is lost. Even my medals are not lost OR so what if they are! What does shiny metal have to do with me? What does money have to do with me? There is only one thing that has to do with me, and that is love. Love is my sustenance, and love of God is my goal and desire, closeness to God is, Oneness is. Love leads the way. And love itself is light of foot. It cannot be commandeered. It can be invited. It can be welcomed. It can be cherished, yet it holds no prisoners.

“From now on, I am free from boundaries, and I free others. I untie all the prisoners in my heart, and I let them go. No longer do I hold anyone in chains, the least of all, myself. I no longer know bounds. I know freedom. No longer do ropes of utter seriousness hold me, nor do I hold onto ropes. I am a free-wheeling Being, and joy is my name, and joy is what I give fluently from my heart. With practice, I become a master of joy, a master of creating joy and lightness of heart for one and all, not the least of which is myself.

“From a young age I knew how to create joy. Now I live my life in joy and lightness of heart, for I am made of joy.”
