HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

As we join hands in fellowship around this bountiful table, we give thanks for the blessings of this food and the love of these friends as a symbol of our gratitude for all the manifold blessings of this life.
~Jonathan-Lockwood Huie

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!!

I would like to wish each and every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving, from me to you. I hope whatever holiday you celebrate it will be an enjoyable one.

The concept of Thanksgiving has been around much longer than the quintessentially American holiday November 22nd this year. For thousands of years, countries and cultures have gathered to celebrate their abundant harvests, independence, and general good fortune by feasting, praying, dancing, and partaking in any other activities that make them unique. There are many variations of Thanksgiving throughout the world — some countries celebrate multiple versions of the holiday, and some versions of the holiday are celebrated by multiple countries. Happy Thanksgiving.

Ah! on Thanksgiving day.... When the care-wearied man seeks his mother once more, And the worn matron smiles where the girl smiled before. What moistens the lips and what brightens the eye? What calls back the past, like the rich pumpkin pie? ~John Greenleaf Whittier

Here's a documentary about some of the myths and realities of thanksgiving as we celebrate it here. Click on the title below to watch it:

THE REAL STORY OF THANKSGIVING

May your stuffing be tasty May your turkey plump, May your potatoes and gravy Have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious And your pies take the prize, And may your Thanksgiving dinner Stay off your thighs! ~Author Unknown

Between the end of one thought and the beginning of the next is a space. In that space, you will find your inner silence.

UPDATE: SINCE THIS MORNING WHEN I MADE THIS POST, THE SPIRIT SCIENCE YOU TUBE CHANNEL HAS UPLOADED THIS AMAZING VIDEO ENTITLED, "GIVE THANKS", SO I DECIDED TO INCLUDE IT HERE. I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT.

Video description from You Tube:

Published on Nov 22, 2012 by TheSpiritScience Hey Everyone! This is a music video i cut together for everyone for Thanksgiving & Beyond! The song is called "Give Thanks" By +Elijah & The Band of Light, one of my biggest inspirations. I love this man, if you know him, tell him I love him and want to give him a hug!

Regardless of what this day means for you, we all must learn and practice giving thanks and love to those who are in our lives. The connections between each other is so important, this is as much a collective journey as much as it is a solo one. And to try and help shift this planet solo is ultimately to cut yourself off from the rest.

The One is All.
The All is One.

Have a beautiful day, every single day.

Ps. I'm working on a pretty big project right now called Panic to Freedom. A project that is aimed at dealing with and freeing one-self from Anxiety. If you want to check it out, please check out www.panictofreedom.com, or check out our newest video ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWpEaWeDe6I
