HAPPY MONDAY!!!

GOOD MORNING!!!

DEAR DIARY: Well, here we are, back to MONDAY, my favorite day of the week. This day has so many possibilities...

We had a great capoeira class yesterday!

And yes, I'm still feeling the burn. You know, one of my most favorite sayings is, "Pain is only your weakness leaving your body!!!" Well, I think my weakness will be leaving me for half the week.

Anyway, It was a grueling workout, but it wasn't too difficult, with my teacher and fellow students cheering each other on. And the older students who come by almost every week, really help us newbies along.

You see, In some Martial Art schools, when older students interact with newer students, they tend to come with a elitist, "I'm better than you" atttitude, and either don't want to work with you, or they want to push you beyond the point where they know you can't go on, or they want to beat up on you, or whatever.

In other words, they're bullies.

But there's NEVER any of that kind of elitist attitude going on here. It truly is a very loving atmosphere, where everyone helps each other out to become better capoeiristas, and I think, better people.

Here's some pictures from yesterday's class:

So, if any of you want to learn capoeira in this loving atmosphere, come join us in Griffith Park from 12:00PM to 3:00PM.

Oh, and starting next month, there will be classes at the AGAPE CENTER, @ 5700 Buckingham Pkwy, Culver City, CA 90230.

HUMANITY'S TEAM

~Steve Farrell

We can heal our shadow by elevating our connection with God to our highest priority.

Here in this place of blessing we only do those things affirming to all those whose lives we touch.

Anything that emotionally, physically or spiritually hurts another is out and those things that nurture us and others are in.
