In this formula is found tranquility. In this process if found peace. In this awareness is found joy. In this “time” lapse between thought and creation which creates the illusion that things are happening to you, not because of you. Thus you forget that you are at cause in the matter.

Your perspective creates your thoughts, if you can remember this, your whole life will change.

Assume a different perspective, and you will have a different thought about everything. In this way you will have learned to control your thought, and in the creation of our experience, controlled thought is everything.

God said:
What is the topic of this Heavenletter today? Of all that I could be saying to you, what makes Me choose this topic today and that topic yesterday?

I want to tell you that it doesn’t matter. What matters is that We sit down together. We can even talk about the weather. We can talk about your day. We can talk about what makes you happy. We can talk about any number of things.

What does it matter what We talk about? What matters is that We talk. We engage. We interchange love. That’s what We’re doing. We’re doing it right now. How much does it matter what We say? It matters that We say. It matters that We look into each other’s eyes, and, perhaps, you, if I may say you, even though there is truly only One of Us, look into your own eyes.

As I speak, you are hearing Me, and you are also the Speaker, the Hearer, and the whole thing.

We are It, beloveds. We have a conversation that goes beyond the words spoken. We meld in Our talk. You like the sound of My Voice, and I like yours. We are like birds twittering in a tree.

Our speech is sound back and forth. Who is the Speaker, and Who is the Hearer? There is no line between.

Whether you read My Words or write them down your seeming self, it is the same. You speak, and you hear yourself. You hear your Self.

And what a Self you are. What a Self We ARE.

You create the Beauty of the Universe, and you create it still. What note do you wish to play?

The world imitates you. It calls back to you what you say to it. It calls back to you your tone of voice. “What’s happening?” you might ask, and the world answers back: “You are happening.”

The world says: “God, You are responsible for me, aren’t you?”

I realize that you may think I, God, am responsible for you. There is a commonality, and, yet, the world is at your pleasure and at your mercy. You are the one who twirls the baton.

It is overdone, it seems to Me, how My children like to make Me responsible for the way everything plays out. If life were a baseball game, I suppose you would call Me the Umpire, and, yet, am I the one throwing the ball?

Life is simpler than you think. A ball may bounce off the fence, but who threw it, beloveds? Who threw it?

Yes, of course, I can be everywhere all at once. I am Omnipresent, yet you are the Player, beloveds. It is your hand that throws the ball.

Am I making you responsible for everything? Yes, I am. I AM. I do not always run interference. My shoulders are broad. I do carry the world, and yet it doesn’t make sense for you to throw everything at Me. Do you think it does?

Can you really walk away from the world and say you have nothing to do with it?

Beloveds, even if you are watching the ballgame, you play a part. The audience plays a big part. You cheer, you boo, and so you uplift, or you put down.

Meanwhile, whatever you do, take Me by the hand and talk to Me. You are My ears to the ground. You are My Messenger. You report what I say, and you also report to Me and let Me know what’s going on. You depend on Me, and I depend on you.

God said:
Something magnificent is about to happen. I don’t have any other way to say it but that.

Your range of thinking has expanded since you have been reading Heavenletters. Of course, you are always expanding. Now you are expanding and extending your heart and mind further.

So, now, when I say something magnificent is about to happen – may even have happened before this Heavenletter is sent out to you – it will impact your life although it may not specifically pertain to your personal life.

What would you like this magnificent happening to be? Do you want it to be a sign, such as a comet streaming through the sky, or do you want it to be a concrete event that can only make you know that you and I exist as One?

I tell you the magnificence that is about to burst forth is not a flashy event. It is not a movie in the sky or a dramatic performance on Earth, and, yet, this occurrence will be a portal to the opening of all hearts on Earth, including yours.

You will first wonder about it, wonder about what you feel, and wonder whether you really feel it, wonder whether your sense of it is really real, and that, really, life on Earth is taking on new dimensions. You have felt hopeful before.

For a long time, Heaven and Earth have been getting closer. You will wonder:

“Can it be that there is no longer division between Heaven and Earth? Can it really be that they have melded into One, just as You say, God, that You and I and everyone are One? Can it be that I live to see this day, and see it here on Earth? What will the newspapers say? Will they note this rising that I feel so strongly within me?

“God, You are telling me that there is an impending event or something like that about to happen, yet, it is subtle. It is not going to be snow in summer, or high temperatures rising in winter. It is not going to be a cataclysm, and, yet, it will be noticed. Will it be known, God? Will I know this magnificence that is going to spring up in life, in all lives, and in mine? Can this be true? Am I asking too much?

“Is this going to be a New World? Will I visit other planets? Are You, God, really everywhere, and are there many Kingdoms and lands that I seek to know. Would I seek to know them unless they did exist?

“Will I visit Heaven, or will I exist here as a human being who enjoys two worlds? That can’t be right because You have said – I think you have said – that Heaven and Earth will be One, in actuality and also in my recognition. Can it be that I will know, and know for keeps? What are You telling me, God, dear God. You couldn’t be leading me down a garden path, could You?”

No, I could not.

Together, We, you and I and everyone, are going to walk down an actual garden path, not a fantasy. Oneness will be known. And you will know it. In this magnificence I hint at, there will be overt change, subtle as it is. You will know that something is different. You will know that something has changed. Whether you can name it or not, you will know, and this change will not be a back and forth change. It is change that will stick. The changes inside you will be, not envisioned, but seen, seen and experienced, and you will experience naturally, for what is upcoming is part of your destiny. You are My envoy. You participate in the glorification of Earth as it rises. And, so, you rise with it. You will know something. You will know you are rising. All glory to My Self Who is God within you.

A Vision for finding God in Oneself It is my intent to be the Pillar of Light which I have promised to be, and believed to be able to be, and for which I am here right now.

It is my intention to receive the light and love from Archangel Metatron, lord of light; from Archangel Michael, lord Melchizedeck, Mahatma, Sananda and Kuthumi, from St. Germain, lady Nada, lady Faith, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Quan Yin; from the light beings of Sirius, of the Pleiades, of Arcturius, from Maitreya, Babaji and from all light beings who want to and can pass their light and love to me and through me.

It is my intention as an instrument and channel to pass the light and love to Gaia, Mother Earth, and all people on Earth. In order to contribute in bringing all darkness and all low and dark energy frequencies up to the light. Around me and inside me.

It is my intention to transform all thoughts and beliefs to a high frequency level, so that my -our- pineal gland can and will secrete the substances allowing the bridge to the pituitary gland to open and by this the road opens to spirit, the I Am, also known as the Holy Spirit, the Christ Consciousness, Buddha Consciousness or Being. In this way I -and we- can go beyond programmed beliefs and the ego-personality and be in unity with the divine. In this way I can and we can give expression to my-our divine self here on Earth exactly in the way it is intended.

It is my intention to rise above all duality and to think outside the box of pre-programmed thinking. To no longer blame something outside me in duality. To no longer blame someone or something or other people in the outside world for how my life and how life in general unfolds. It is now my intent to take responsibility for all my creations and for All of Creation.

It is my intention to see that everything in this earthly life has had and has the purpose to find God in me again. I intend to embrace love, peace, silence, joy and gratitude in all my being. And to serve the Highest and Best Good of the Universe, of myself, and everyone around.

I forgive myself that previously I wasn't able to turn around the key of the bridge to the Self. And now it is my intention as Pillar or Light to place all the dark and evil in light and love, outside me as well as inside me; and to see no more distinction and separation, because we are One. Suffering is the biggest issue for those of us who are trying to align with the spiritual truth of "you create your own reality" and "the purpose of your life is joy". And who blames us? Who the hell could say that the child who was kidnapped and raped created their own reality and live with themselves? How could we say that life is about joy when people are loosing their loved ones to cancer or war?

Our entire reality is being arranged around us like a 360 degree mirror reflection of our thoughts. Our senses perceive this reflection and translate it into a physical experience for us. And so, you can think of it like a learning hologram.

When we are born, we know we create our own reality by virtue of what we are paying attention to. This is why it is so easy for babies to ignore you. But pretty soon, we get more flack for ignoring things we do not want to pay attention to, thenn we do for paying attention to them, and the minute we pay attention to them, they begin to manifest in our reality. And we feel like victims. We forget that we create our own reality.

Suffering is not inevitable. Contrast is inevitable. To know what is wanted, you must know what is unwanted, so this experience is going to contain elements that are unwanted. If this were not the case, no expansion would occur. There would be no purpose to life. The purpose of life is to let that contrast (that which is unwanted) inspire within you what is wanted and then going in the direction of that. The purpose of your life is to follow your joy.

Suffering is the result of not focusing on and following your joy when what is wanted is inspired within you. It is the result of focus on what is unwanted even after the idea of what is wanted instead is birthed within you. Suffering is the byproduct of focus. It is always the result of continuing to focus on what is unwanted on what evokes negative emotion within you. And so, it is always in your control whether or not you suffer.

Heavenletter #4601 What You Want Most of All, June 30, 2013

God said: Give Me an idea of what words you would most like to hear. More than like to hear, I mean what subject might be most meaningful to you to hear today? What are you most eager to hear? Perhaps you are ready to hear more about the truth of you even beyond the wondrousness I tell you that you are.

It is easy for Me to go on expressing My joy in you, yet it may be that you are craving something more. Perhaps you want greater understanding, perhaps of the meaning of life.

Of course, I’ve told you the meaning of life, and what you grasped so well for a while now eludes you. You don’t remember exactly, do you? There are some areas that simply are not concrete enough for you to hold onto. What is less concrete holds deeper meaning. Deeper meaning is more subtle, and it is the subtle that is the hardest of all for you to hold onto. It slips your mind now.

What is on your mind today, beloveds? Everything you have yet to do? Windows to wash? Books to write? A hair appointment? And, yes, what is it all for?

You may wonder. You may say to yourself:

“If I am so divine, how come the majority of my life by far is concerned with details of life?”

You may further add:

“God, I’d really like to have more of my attention on the Divine, yet, how do I fit it in when I have to pay taxes and bills, so much to catch up with. There is so much I have to take care of before I can turn my attention to You. You do understand, God, don’t You?”

Yes, I understand, and I laugh.

Tell Me, please, what else distracts you from Me? Perhaps the weather? Snow to shovel? Or sidewalks to sweep?

You know what? Even as you shovel, you can think of Me. Even as your sweep, you can think of Me. Honest, you don’t have to spend all your time thinking of what you presently think of. There are greater fields before you. You come to grips with the uncertainties of life, and, so, time with Me escapes you.

Do you know when to whisper My Name in your heart? Now. Right now. This is the time to think God. At this minute. What you have been responding to and collecting may be dross. I’ll bet that you have either been frittering away your thoughts on thoughts of that are not worth even frittering away.

What about Me would you most like to think about now, assuming that you have time or can make time?

I know the answer, do you?

You might say you want to think about My power and My glory. Of course, My power and My glory are one and the same. My power and My glory are love! Love is My power, and it is also yours.

Don’t kid yourself that you are powerless when it comes to your life. No, indeed. You are powerful, and love is your power and glory, naught but love. We have the same love in Our hearts, only you think your love is less. Beloveds, you simply haven’t exercised your love enough. Sometimes I wonder if you think that your love is a wild tiger that you had better leave at home.

But no, love is to accompany you everywhere you go. At work and at home, love is the height of you. It is your grandest power. Now, exercise it. Take it with you. Don’t be without it.

God said:
When your heart is touched, when your heart is moved, when an act, a word, a smile has touched your heart, you can know that it is I Who has touched your heart. You felt My breath on your heart like a sea-breeze. For a while, you are aware of My attention on you even as you may not be aware that the attention is Mine. You may see the attention came from here and there. Wherever the attention of love came from, it came from Me.

I am always attentive to you. You are not always aware. That’s okay. That’s part of life, yet what you can do, is knock on My door. Knock on My door often.

Knock and say: “Knock knock, Who’s there?” And I will answer, “Father God.” Or, I will answer, “Mother God,” if this is what you prefer.

We can have a routine, if you like. Perhaps a vaudeville act, if you like. Look, We can tap-dance. We can sit on the sidelines and watch. It matters not at all where you think you are. The fact is that you are with Me. I love it so.

You are as near to Me as My heart. You are part of My heart. You are not outside it. We can say that you are the heart of My heart. You are the core of it. You are a special rose I carry in My heart. You are Mine, and I am yours.

This is not ownership We talk about now. This is location. You live in My house. We are Housemates, as it were. We live freely in the same house. You are Mine, yet I do not own you. You are not My possession anymore than I am your possession. I gave you Free Will, and I gave it gladly. We can say that you are the Free Will of My heart. We are bound to each other without binding. It is My Free Will to be with you. And your free will to be with Me, only, We are beyond Free Will. We could call it Destiny that We are together. We are not tied, yet We are united. We are joined in love, and in love We are.

What other choice is there really? Where would I want to go without you? Nowhere. Nor is there need for you to depart. However, you do depart in your thoughts as you seek different answers. You are an explorer of count. What you explore, what you will discover, is that you are with Me regardless of where you may think you are.

I don’t wear you on My lapel. I wear you in My heart. You are established in Me. Established in Me, you move in the world. I am your means of travel. We travel together, never apart. Never apart, We are joined at the hip. From the birth of Creation, We have been joined as One. We are One Being under God. We are related. We are on the same family tree.

Or, We can say that I, God, God of your Gods, am the Tree, and you are My blossoms. And how you blossom. Of course, in My care, you blossom. The sun shines on Us. Why else do We have the Sun if not to shine on Us, on Our beautiful portrait where We meld as One Beautiful One? You are forever under God, for I am like a Sun that shines on you. I am a proud Sun Who shines on you.

To take pride in what I have wrought is a natural thing. It is delight. It is not ego. It is joy I take in you. You give Me much joy.

You are waking up to the majesty of life and the great opportunity before you. What have you been thinking, beloveds? Have you been thinking that life is a hardship? Have you wondered what you are doing here? Have you considered it a bother to be alive on Earth? It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be here. There is no other life in the world quite like it. Today is NELSON MANDELA's birthday, and to honor him, the UN has declared today to be INTERNATIONAL MANDELA DAY.

Now in case you've been living under a rock, and don't know who Nelson Mandela is, here's a little info about him from WIKIPEDIA:

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela (Xhosa pronunciation: [xoˈliːɬaɬa manˈdeːla]; born 18 July 1918) is a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary and politician who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the first black South African to hold the office, and the first elected in a fully representative, multiracial election. His government focused on dismantling the legacy of apartheid through tackling institutionalised racism, poverty and inequality, and fostering racial reconciliation. Politically an African nationalist and democratic socialist, he served as the President of the African National Congress (ANC) from 1991 to 1997. Internationally, Mandela was the Secretary General of the Non-Aligned Movement from 1998 to 1999. A Xhosa born to the Thembu royal family, Mandela attended Fort Hare University and the University of Witwatersrand, where he studied law. Living in Johannesburg, he became involved in anti-colonial politics, joining the ANC and becoming a founding member of its Youth League. After the Afrikaner nationalists of the National Party came to power in 1948 and began implementing the policy of apartheid, he rose to prominence in the ANC's 1952 Defiance Campaign, was elected President of the Transvaal ANC Branch and oversaw the 1955 Congress of the People. Working as a lawyer, he was repeatedly arrested for seditious activities and, with the ANC leadership, was prosecuted in the Treason Trial from 1956 to 1961 but was found not guilty. Although initially committed to non-violent protest, in association with the South African Communist Party he co-founded the militant Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) in 1961, leading a bombing campaign against government targets. In 1962 he was arrested, convicted of sabotage and conspiracy to overthrow the government, and sentenced to life imprisonment in the Rivonia Trial. Mandela served 27 years in prison, first on Robben Island, and later in Pollsmoor Prison and Victor Verster Prison. An international campaign lobbied for his release, which was granted in 1990 amid escalating civil strife. Becoming ANC President, Mandela published his autobiography and led negotiations with President F.W. de Klerk to abolish apartheid and establish multiracial elections in 1994, in which he led the ANC to victory. He was elected President and formed a Government of National Unity in an attempt to defuse ethnic tensions. As President, he established a new constitution and initiated the Truth and Reconciliation Commission to investigate past human rights abuses. Continuing the former government's liberal economic policy, his administration introduced measures to encourage land reform, combat poverty and expand healthcare services. Internationally, he acted as mediator between Libya and the United Kingdom in the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing trial, and oversaw military intervention in Lesotho. He declined to run for a second term, and was succeeded by his deputy Thabo Mbeki, subsequently becoming an elder statesman, focusing on charitable work in combating poverty and HIV/AIDS through the Nelson Mandela Foundation. Controversial for much of his life, right-wing critics denounced Mandela as a terrorist and communist sympathiser. He nevertheless gained international acclaim for his anti-colonial and anti-apartheid stance, having received over 250 awards, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize, the US Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Soviet Order of Lenin. He is held in deep respect within South Africa, where he is often referred to by his Xhosa clan name of Madiba or as Tata meaning Father; he is often described as "the father of the nation".

God said:
If you had only half a second of Earth time to jot down something to Me, you wouldn’t spend illusory time thinking about what you would write. You would simply write! And you might be surprised at what you write! Something would come from you. It would not have to be a complete sentence. It could be anything it wanted to be. I say IT wanted to be -- the writing wanted to be -- not what you might have decided to make of it. The writing would come.

I tend to think that if I said to you: “Dear Child, write to Me and take as long as you like,” you might ponder too much and, after a while, you might erase what you wrote because it was not good enough to write to God about, that it had to be something to marvel at that you said to Me, that it had to be something you were absolutely proud to say to Me.

I suggest that you not ponder or think a lot about what you are typing to Me. Ask of yourself to say simple things to Me. This is not some great or formal occasion. It is your heart simply talking to Mine.

You could write: “God, I love You.” You could write: “Here I am, God.”

What you write could be anything at all. It could be ordinary. What makes what you write powerful and energetic is that you, your fingers connected to your heart, are typing a message from your heart to Me. How I welcome hearing from you! It means so much to Me to hear from you. Even a word – “God.” Or, “God, this is me, Henry.” Or, “God, what are You thinking right now? What is occurring to You?”

At this time, as I give you a simple lesson in writing to Me, you are not asking for anything from Me. Perhaps you are asking something of yourself in that you are telling Me something. It can be any style you want.

It can be: “God, come over here.” It can be: “God, lift me up.” It can be: “Hi, God, how are You today?” It can be anything at all you are saying to Me. Asking Me to come closer is not asking anything of Me but what I already do.

You are not demanding a grand plea to Me or what you might call a prayer. You are talking to God. You are making conversation with Me.

We can say you are giving Me a simple greeting. Or perhaps you tell Me what great thing happened to you today, or something you thought of. How about saying something to Me that could well make you smile and Me too. Why not?

You can be informal with Me. Who told you that you have to be very serious with Me and all that?

You can nudge Me with your elbow, so to speak. We can be ordinary friends taking a walk together down a country lane, or We can be hanging out at the mall.

Beloveds, there are no restrictions on Our friendship. We are friends for life. Our friendship is assured. I see My light in you. There is no blocking the Truth of you from Me. We are in this adventure together. Where you go, go I. Where I go, you come.

We are like popcorn and salt. We go together. Like peanut butter and bread. Like God on a walk with Himself and you, the Companion of My heart.

God said:
You lead two lives or more. You play this role or that. You play out many scenes, and you switch. You are a many-splendored thing. All of the roles you play in the world are play-acting. You are on stage! Every day the curtains go up, and the lights go on. There is a veritable wonder of scenes. It is as if life in the world is choreographed, and all the dances spin around and interchange in various settings. This dance is very important to all the players. It is everything to them, from sun-up to sundown.

And yet there is another theater where all the sets are different, and the players are too. There is a liveliness and yet quite a different tone. I am speaking of the Real Theater, the Theater Supreme, the Land Of Love where all abide. This is a land that vibrates to a higher tone than the everyday world. Quite a different vibration here. Here there isn’t the noise to break up the sweetness. There is great vitality. This is Reality.

So you, as a dear human being, inhabit two worlds, often without awareness of what is really going on.

There is the active world-bound you are running around in, and there is the actual you who sings high notes in a greater land. This is where you really live. Here there are not days and nights or divisions of any kind. There is no division. One cannot be called a division. One is One.

And this is where We are all are as One. One does not mean restrictive. One means expansive. Here in this land that some might call magic, real life takes place. This is not the pretend life. No, this is the real Life, and it is beyond description. Words cannot tell its story. It is not story-less. It is the only story of its kind, and is far more than a story. It is Truth. Being in this story-less land is very rich and rife. All energy comes from here. All the cast of characters and storylines come from here. Perhaps We can say that this is where the lights, cameras, action do their stuff.

Yes, in one way, We can say that the land you inhabit with all the whirling around and the roles you play on this theater come from this less seen theater above. Here is from where One Director directs the scenes spotlighted on Earth. Here is from where the One Director wears coats of many colors and plays all the parts, and still He is the Director.

Perhaps life on Earth is His dream. Surely, it is all a dream. Life on Earth is a long-acting story, so much going on, and yet none of it is real. It seems real. You can pinch yourself and know you are there. And, yet, there is that which is un-pinchable and overall. Here is where life truly takes place.

On Earth is what may be called The Theater of the Absurd, and in Heaven are the real behind-the-scenes. This is where life really takes place. On Earth, there is all this running around and comedy and tragedy, and in Heaven all the angels know better. Down the line and across the board, you are an angel in Heaven who dances on Earth, most often forgetting his or her angeldom.

We can say that life on Earth is not to be taken so seriously, and yet it is. All the actors on the stage of life put their hearts into the scenes. They live them as if these lives are all that there is, and, yet, somewhere in the back of their minds and in their hearts stands the awareness that they are indeed greater than the parts they play, stands the awareness of a Holy Director, and that they, each of them, each is truly the Director, even as it seems that they are on Earth.

There is a Kingdom, however, where all truly abide. You do. From this greater height of consciousness, you see through a different lens.

How does your life add value to the world? This is a question that can and should be asked on a regular basis. Those who have the most fulfilling lives are those who have followed their passion and created tremendous value in the lives of others. Too often those who have the most to contribute to the world are hesitant to share their gifts with others. They often fear being perceived as arrogant, pushy, or ego-centered if they try to promote their ideas and knowledge to others.

However, actually it is just the opposite. The person who is afraid to share their unique gifts and talents with others is the one with the greatest ego. In fearing being labeled or judged you are cheating others from the benefit of your special talents. You have something to offer the world that is truly unique. People are desperate for the knowledge, insight, and love that only you possess. Why not share it with as many people as possible? In doing so you will create a more abundant and fulfilling life for you and for all those whose lives you touch.

"Countdown" connects the invention of the movie projector to improvements in castle fortifications caused by the invention and use of the cannon. The use of the cannon caused changes in castle fortifications to eliminate a blind spot where cannon fire could not reach. This improvement in castle defense caused innovation in offensive cannon fire, which eventually required maps. This caused the need to see things at long distances (like a mountain top) so the effect was the invention of the incandescent light, or limelight. Burke turns to the next ingredient for a movie projector, film. Film is made with celluloid (made with guncotton) which was first invented as a substitute for ivory in billiard balls. Next was the invention of the zoopraxiscope which was first used for a bet to see if a horse's hooves all left the ground at any point while galloping. The zoopraxiscope used frame by frame pictures and holes on the side to allow the machine to pull the film forward. Communication signals for railways using Morse's telegraph led to Edison discovering how to speak into a microphone creating bumps on a disc that could be played back—the record player. This final ingredient gave movies sound. In summary, Burke connects the invention of the movie projector to four major innovations in history: the incandescent light; the discovery of celluloid; the projector that uses frame by frame pictures on celluloid; and finally, recorded sound.

Connections is a ten-episode documentary television series created, written and presented by science historian James Burke. The series was produced and directed by Mick Jackson of the BBC Science & Features Department and first aired in 1978 (UK) and 1979 (USA). It took an interdisciplinary approach to the history of science and invention and demonstrated how various discoveries, scientific achievements, and historical world events were built from one another successively in an interconnected way to bring about particular aspects of modern technology. The series was noted for Burke's crisp and enthusiastic presentation (and dry humour), historical reenactments, and intricate working models.

Heavenletter #4597 Do You Debate with a Wild Tiger?, June 26, 2013

God said:
Indeed, life as you live it, often seems hard, so hard. It seems hard because of ideas you hold. You have sequences of ideas, one tied to another, and you believe in all of these ideas. Based on your thoughts, you may well set yourself up for difficulty.

You come to conclusions of what life is supposed to be. You want life to be easy, yet it isn’t. Why isn’t it? Isn’t life putting one foot in front of the other? What is so hard about that?

When you say that life has to be this way and not that way, you come up against an obstruction. Rather, you pull the obstruction up to you. You set a deterrent in front of you.

What if you could think that life is whatever it is right now, and it’s okay for life to be like this at this moment? It is okay. Life is the life before you at this moment.

Who says that decisions have to be difficult? Look, in life, if you find yourself facing a wild tiger, do you theorize about it? Do you say to yourself or to the tiger: “You shouldn’t be here. You don’t belong here. You shouldn’t be in front of me.”

Beloveds, I don’t think you debate the issue of a wild tiger when it is before you.

And yet you wrangle with what may be before you in life.

It is easy for you when there is a teddy bear in front you. You just go up and hug it.

You may have tasks before you, some you like, and some you don’t. And each has to be taken care of.

Life doesn’t always ask you: “What would you like, dear?”

Life often seems to say:

“Here I am. Do with me as you will. I suggest that you take care of me as I am before you. Know that whatever I present to you, for whatever known or unknown reasons, it is your course of life I present, and you are the one who has to take care of me. You are the one who has to deal with me, not as you would wish I be but as I am.”

Beloveds, when the radio is on too loud, you are the one who gets up to lower it.

When there is mud tracked on the kitchen floor, you are the one who wipes up the mud.

When you are facing a law suit which sets trembling in your breast, you are the one who has to go to court.

When life hands you what you consider a hard blow, you are the one who has to get up on the count of ten, and pick up your life.

When you are driving a car in traffic, you can’t keep blasting your horn. You are the one who has to get out of your own way. You are the one who has to move along. Moving along in life requires moving along. Not rebuttal but forward-moving action. Not moaning and groaning, but forward-moving action.

When your baby cries in the middle of the night, you get up and take care of your baby.

Your life is not to cry about. Your life is to get up and take care of.

It is no longer for you to blame the state of your life on something outside you. If you are in a pickle, it is for you to get out of the pickle. And if you can’t seem to get out of it, then you are the one to move along anyway.

You are responsible for your life. No one else is.

Heavenletter #4596 Sometimes, Hard Decisions Have to Be Made, June 25, 2013

God said:
Know this. Dreams do get fulfilled. They get fulfilled, or your dreams become better than before. Or, the dream may vary. If it stays as it is, perhaps your motivation has changed. Perhaps now your intention comes from a higher place.

This reminds Me of the story of the two mothers who came before King Solomon. Two mothers each claimed that the child was hers. When King Solomon offered the possibility of dividing the baby in two, so the story goes, the true mother said, “No, let the baby go to her.”

Earlier, her motivation had been her wish to have her baby back. After King Solomon’s response, her higher wish was for the child to live a long life. What she wished for another became more important than what she wished for herself.

We could make another scenario for this tale. Perhaps the one who relinquished the child was not technically the birth mother, yet was she not the true mother? Or perhaps she was or was not the birth mother. Perhaps she simply spoke more quickly than the other claimant.

In later times than Biblical, the birth mother of a child might sue for her rights to the child and win and take the baby away from the only home the child knew and where the child had been loved and happy. I do not ask you to judge, beloveds, for there is no percentage in judging.

You can look at something in the short haul, or you can look at it in the long haul, and, either way, you do not know enough to know answers beneath the surface that at present seem so clear to you -- or so obscure.

You might ask: “How can it be right for any child to be taken away from its happy home?”

Whatever a person thinks, he is usually positive he is right. How could it ever be right to take a child away from his home where he is happy?

And so it is also asked: “How can leaving an unhappy child in an unhappy home -- how can that be right?”

I mention all this, beloved children, because a part of a story is not the whole story. There could be a case where a mother loves her child enough to send him away. This is a hard test for any mother who is looking out for the welfare of her child.

Do you know what? It doesn’t matter what someone else thinks of your situation. When it involves you, you may well have to see further than all those who do not live in your shoes. In the world, everyone is an expert on everyone else. Everyone is certain what someone else ought to do. They know what they would do, of course. They know until one day when they may find themselves in the same situation.

Even so, no two situations are alike. There are heartbreaking situations, and heartbreaking decisions that have to be made.

And what is the intention? For whose sake are decisions made?

There are many cases, some more drastic than others, where a decision that is not one’s dream has to be made, and you are the one who has to make it. Do not think you are making a callous decision. You may well be making the best decision that, given your choices, can be made.

Sometimes you are faced with a question: “What do I have to do that is for someone else’s good here?” And then you bite the bullet and make the decision you have to, like it or not.

In life, it may well be that there is no choice you would like to make, and yet you have to make it.

Vision for a Wave of Altruism

I see a Wave of Altruism flowing around the Earth. I see people everywhere waking up to the realization that fear and greed are totally ineffective, and only attract more of the same. I see people trying kindness as a response to meanness and delighted to find that kindness heals the relationship. I see individuals paying it forward at every opportunity, teaching by example that generosity can replace greed.

In the news we will hear stories, one after the other, of rich people realizing they are isolating themselves in a smaller and smaller enclave, yearning to be part of the human family again, and giving away everything beyond what they need to live on. Human beings will learn that money is only a metaphor, and the only real security is in community and self-fulfillment. Flaunting riches like mansions and flashy cars will become ludicrously old-fashioned behavior, and living simply will become greatly admired. The mass media will have to find a whole new ethic.

Cooperation will replace competition. I see groups of volunteers restoring the environment, cleaning up streams, planting trees, making roof gardens in the cities. Well-paid employees will suggest job sharing with those who are unemployed. Employers and middle management formerly driven by ambition will learn how to have fun, and will generate new ways to ease stress from others. We will even hear about CEO's of corporations, dissolving their power empires into many small companies. With their amassed wealth they will sponsor free enrichment programs for students, like training in the arts. Eventually there will be no individuals marginalized and corrupted by poverty and hopelessness - the prisons will be empty and can be torn down.

I see our nation forgiving other nations their debts but not in any way trying to control those nations, allowing them their own path of evolution. As this Wave of Altruism flows around the Earth, I see nations who have been traditional enemies for hundreds of years realizing that revenge brings only more pain and, instead, offering the hand of peace.

Today is SUNDAY, which means it's time for my SUNDAY SCHOOL VIDEO, where I post up a video about any religious subject. This week, I'm posting a little bit about RAMADAN, which I learned has started this week.

Ramadan (Arabic: رمضان‎ Ramaḍān, IPA: [rɑmɑˈdˤɑːn];Persian: رمضان‎ Ramazān; Urdu: رمضان‎ Ramzān; Turkish: Ramazan) is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar;Muslims worldwide observe this as a month of fasting. This annual observance is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The month lasts 29–30 days based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon, according to numerous biographical accounts compiled in hadiths. The word Ramadan comes from the Arabic root ramida or ar-ramad, which means scorching heat or dryness. Fasting is fardh (obligatory) for adult Muslims, except those who are ill, travelling, pregnant, diabetic or going through menstrual bleeding.

While fasting from dawn until sunset, Muslims refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking, and engaging in sexual relations; in some interpretations they also refrain from swearing. Food and drink is served daily, before sunrise and after sunset. According to Islam, the thawab (rewards) of fasting are many, but in this month they are believed to be multiplied. Fasting for Muslims during Ramadan typically includes the increased offering of salat (prayers) and recitation of the Quran.

Heavenletter #4595 Your Thoughts Reach Everywhere, June 24, 2013

God said: I do not hold the reins on your heart. You understand that, don’t you? Even as your beating heart is Mine, I give it to you fully. Here is where free will resides – in your heart. You have all the ingredients of My heart given to you freely. I do not give you restrictions. Any restrictions imposed, you impose. You are the imposer. I could even call you imposter.

When you represent anything less than My heart in yours, you are an imposter. You donned a costume. You threw it on. Your costume is only a cover up. It’s like an apron. The True You is still there, but costumed, rearranged, turned around perhaps. Nevertheless, your True Heart cannot be uprooted. It waits patiently for your consent. Your heart wants to blossom. Your heart wants to sing. It doesn’t want to sing dirges. It wants to sing sprightly. It wants to hit the high notes. Your heart wants to sing and sing.

In the relative world, you look outside yourself. Well, of course, in the relative world, you have to look where you are going, but this does not mean to tether your heart. Your heart is free. It is as free as Mine. It is Mine, yet I gave it to you to do as you will.

You say you want your heart to be happy. You say that is one of your greatest wishes if not the greatest wish and most common of all. Why, then, aren’t you happy?

You have excuses for unhappiness. You attribute your happiness to this and to that. If your heart is free to live as you like, why isn’t your heart happy? Have you not attributed everything to outside you? The weather? Your upbringing? Your neighbor? Your boss? You take responsibility from your shoulders and attach it to anything and his brother.

Beloveds, you blame crime on criminals. They may well be expressing the lack of expansion in your heart.

What do you think it means when I say your thoughts reach everywhere?

Who is doing your thinking, beloved? You have the tendency to absolve yourself of responsibility. You foist it onto something else. You say that outside you comes first, and you come second.

It is really such a simple thing to admit:

“I am responsible. I am responsible for myself. I am responsible for the condition of my heart. I am also responsible for everyone else’s heart. I am responsible. I am responsible for myself and for everyone’s heart. God gave me this freedom. I am responsible for everyone’s well-being. I am responsible for my wealth. I am responsible for everyone’s wealth. This is a whole new way of thinking for you. If you feel this now, amazingly to you, you feel unburdened, not burdened. Look, you are free! You are not held back.

This is where you begin. By being responsible, you set yourself free. Until you set yourself free, you are in bondage. In bondage, in letting others be responsible for your happiness, you have tied yourself to that which is outside you. Take responsibility, and a fount of strength rises from within you.

I understand that there are circumstances that are difficult for you. You do not have to give outer circumstances such power over you. You are your own determiner. Even if you are in shackles, you are your own determiner. Do not extend to anyone or anything so much power over your heart. What stops a bird from singing? Even in a cage, a bird sings. Sing. Sing now.
