QUOTE OF THE DAY

Everything in God's creation is perfect. If we don't see our own perfection, it's because the lies in our story keep us from seeing the truth. The truth is that every human is born perfect because only perfection exists
~don Miguel Ruiz

  1. Truly, everything that God created was perfect when he created it. But man fell into a state of rebellion against God. And thus by freewill choice, fell into a state of imperfection. The planet is rife with examples. Not to see these examples, not to factor them into your sense of reality, is to have your blinders on, and cinched up tight.

This “philosophy” of don Miguel Ruiz, appeals only to those who fear change, allowing them to construct a (totally false) belief structure within their dark and fearful imagination that tells them that there is no need for change, as they are already “perfect”.

John, you like quoting other people’s work, but I don’t see that you have any sense of your own confidence in your own individual creativity when it comes to having a dialog. What is “perfect” about that? Silence in the face of a reasonable challenge is not what anybody would consider courage.

Please give us an illustration of your own personal “perfection” be explaining to your readers why you believe that the above quote of don Miguel Ruiz has value.

Yes, explain to us how this applies to the crack addicts in the ghettos of America. Yes, explain to us how this applies to the gang culture in the ghettos of America, the crips and the bloods for example. Yes, explain to us how this applies to organized crime. Yes, explain to us how this applies to the thousands of women every year who are struck down by breast cancer. Yes, explain to us how this applies to the repetitive and recurring tragedy of famine in many parts of Africa. And while you are at it, explain to us how this applies to the hurricanes which destroy property and lives over vast stretches of land. You might start with hurricane Katrina, or perhaps Irene. How about those tornados that flatten towns into a pile of toothpicks. There is an example of “perfection”. And perhaps, when you get into your perfect groove, in terms of explaining how the above quote can be applied to these things, you might explain to us how this applies to the congresswoman who was shot in the head in Tucson, Arizona.
