HAPPY MONDAY!!!

There is nothing I ever need to have.
~Jonathan-Lockwood Huie

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!!!

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off! MORAL : Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up. Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred – Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries – Most never happens.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less from people but more from yourself.

You have two choices… smile and close this page, or pass this along to someone else to share the lesson .

Well, since today is MONDAY, it's time for another video clip of AWARENESS, with the late Anthony De Mello...

You can see all the AWARENESS videos in order at http://awareness.tk

“If what you seek is Truth, there is one thing you must have above all else.” “I know. An overwhelming passion for it.” “No. An unremitting readiness to admit you may be wrong.” ― Anthony de Mello

Now guys, I want to talk about something.

I bet you're wondering why I posted that picture up. Or maybe not... Well, I'll tell you anyway. I put that picture up there to illustrate the fact that usually, when you give up something, that's usually the time just before you would have reached your goals.

I have a friend who's at a crossroad in his life. He came out here to follow his dreams... After working very hard for a long time, he's not where He wants to be yet, and He's getting discouraged. He's getting to the point where he's thinking about quitting, and going back to the life that everyone around him says he should have lived, but he hates with a passion (HIS words, not mine).

Well, here's my little message to him , and anybody else out there who may be discouraged about their dreams... And he's gonna read this because I'm gonna REPEATEDLY post this on his Facebook Wall

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

And If that little message didn't convince you to keep going, well click on the link below and watch this little video I found on You Tube...

Now if HE can do it, so can you.

I believe in you. So keep going, and...

I've been thinking a lot about a certain special LADY recently, and A SPECIAL NIGHT where she performed about a year ago... I haven't seen her in about 10 months, and I really miss her. But I take a part of her wherever I go...

And, I believe in her too.

Anyway, if you want to see one of the songs she performed that night, click below.

Your point of view is something personal to you. It is no one's truth but yours.
