Creationists claim Archaeopteryx is only a bird and in no way serves to link dinosaurs to modern-day birds. However, in this video I list up to 17 purely reptilian features unique to Archaeopteryx that are not found in modern birds -- displaying, without a doubt, Archaeopteryx is indeed one of the most important transitional species ever found.

A Vision for the Highest Light

We envision us living in a world where everyone sees everyone else in their highest light, where everyone sees the Godspark in everyone else; and where everyone holds a vision in their minds of everyone else living their lives happily, healthfully, freely, abundantly, and fulfilled in every way.

We imagine us living in a world where people everywhere now understand the difference between our preferences and our judgments; where we understand that each has their preferences (I like chocolate - you like vanilla), but that it does not serve us whatsoever to judge another (because they might like vanilla and you don't care for it). We see them in their highest light, regardless of all their predilections, proclivities, and preferences.

The genealogy of the steam engine is then examined: Thomas Newcomen's engine for pumping water out of mines (1712); Abraham Darby's cheap iron from coke, James Watt's addition of a second condensing cylinder (for cooling) to the engine (1763); John Wilkinson's improving of cannon boring (for the French military) and cylinder making (for Watt; 1773--75). Wilkinson's brother-in-law, Joseph Priestley, investigated gases, leading Alessandro Volta to invent "bad air" (marsh gas) detectors and ignitors. Connections is a ten-episode documentary television series created, written and presented by science historian James Burke. The series was produced and directed by Mick Jackson of the BBC Science & Features Department and first aired in 1978 (UK) and 1979 (USA). It took an interdisciplinary approach to the history of science and invention and demonstrated how various discoveries, scientific achievements, and historical world events were built from one another successively in an interconnected way to bring about particular aspects of modern technology. The series was noted for Burke's crisp and enthusiastic presentation (and dry humour), historical reenactments, and intricate working models.

Well, today's a perfect recpie for disaster... but hopefully we can turn things around. Let's hope so...

What does it mean to be grounded? How do you achieve the right balance between being effective in working in the world while still maintaining a constant connection with spirit? Isn’t this the dance that everyone has been trying to perfect for years? Many people have spent much of their life trying to escape the craziness and misery of the world by focusing on the esoteric other dimensions of reality. This focus on transcending the physical has enabled a tremendous spiritual potency to develop.

It appears as if at this point in history we are all being called to become more grounded and begin to manifest the spiritual truths into the physical realm. Instead of searching for a blissful, heavenly existence out there, we are being asked to actually create a completely joyful, peaceful and loving atmosphere on this planet. Although it may seem overwhelmingly challenging, trust that the power of creation can shift things instantly. When you seek in a moment-to-moment basis to ground your spirituality into your 3D world miracles will take place in your life and all those you touch. This world is a joyful, compassionate place for those who see it through eyes of love.

People, who come into this life with the intention of experiencing what it is to be transgender, intended to understand authenticity. You can only find true authenticity if you first experiencing being inauthentic. Finding your own true identity requires an identity crisis. It is only ever the byproduct of either being void of identity or feeling as if you do not identify with your identity.

Gender is the first form of identity next to human. It is even more a part of identity than race or religion. This is why transgender people go through a period of identity development.

Spiritually, they intended before birth to come down into contrast that would cause them to fulfill three key needs relative to authenticity; the first being the need to understand of one's self-image, the second being the need for self-reflection (self discovery), and the third being the need for self-expression.

Resistance to your gender keeps you stuck in that gender. So releasing resistance to it and finding ways to positively focus towards it, will actually enable you to let go of it; and allow yourself to choose a lifestyle and even a body that you feel reflects the real you.

"The Wheel of Fortune" traces astrological knowledge in ancient Greek manuscripts from Baghdad's founder, Caliph Al-Mansur, via the Muslim monastery/medical school at Gundeshapur, to the medieval Church's need for alarm clocks (the water horologium and the verge and foliot clock). The clock mainspring gave way to the pendulum clock, but the latter could not be used by mariners, thus the need for precision machining by way of Huntsman's improved steel (1797) and Maudslay's use (1800) of Ramsden's idea of using a screw to better measure (which he took from the turner's trade). This process made a better mainspring and was also used by the Royal Navy to make better blocks. Le Blanc mentioned this same basic idea to Thomas Jefferson who transmitted this "American system of manufactures" -- precision machine-tooling of musket parts for interchangeability -- to New Englanders Eli Whitney, John Hall and Simeon North. The American efficiency expert Frank Gilbreth and his psychologist wife later improved the whole new system of the modern production line.

Connections is a ten-episode documentary television series created, written and presented by science historian James Burke. Now I admit, I was going only going there because DANNI EL was performing there, but I wanted to see the rest of the event as well, as it was my first time there. So, the plan was to go out to Santa Monica, have breakfast at the NOVEL CAFE on Lincoln blvd., and then go to the Kathmandu Boutique and spend the day there, possibly buying some items, and enjoying the festivities. this was what I was planing for about 2 weeks.

But then, 2 days before the event, I was called in to do a temp job. When I got there, I was informed that I was to work 10 hours, on that Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!!! And then, on Firday, I learned that we would be working 11 hours that day, and on Saturday too!!!

That's right, my Saturday, which I'd been planning for 2 weeks, was ruined. Needless to say, I did NOT wake up a happy man that Saturday morning.

But, I'm happy to say, my day turned out better than I expected it to be... and I'l tell you why in a little bit.

Now, back to my Saturday. I went to work pissed off, but I realized something around my first break. I learned that if I don't make this day positive somehow, then it was only going to be a living hell for myself and everyone around me. So I chilled, hung out with my fellow coworkers during breaks, danced to some radio music (when the supervisor wasn't watching), and well, basically forced myself to have fun. And I became determined thrugout the day to GET MY ASS TO SANTA MONICA, to at least see DANNI EL perform, if even I only got to see part of it.

So after work, that's what I did. I got a ride to the Blue Line, and went out there. On the way, I helped a chinese tourist get to the airport, a man from New York get to north hollywood, and a group of Italian tourists get to the Santa Monica Promenade.

Now, when I got to the boutique, the first thing I did was look for Danni El. I went all through that store, then I went to the outside area where there was a performance going on. And then, I saw her:

It was the 1st time I've seen her in over a year. It was kind of like, seeing the bright light at the end of a dark tunnel. I also couldn't believe that I got there just in time to see her perform! I felt like I did something RIGHT in a previous life...

But anyway, we hugged, exchanged pleasantries, then after a little while, she went to perform. While she was singing, I forgot that I just worked an 11 hour shift and was very, very tired. Hell, EVERYTHING I was worried about disappeared. What can I say, , when you see Danni perform, You WILL be in for a wonderful experience that you will never forget.

Anyway, after her set, I had some presents for her, so I went over to her, gave her my gifts, (I think she liked them), and, she gave me some gifts (which I'll show you later). And then, I had to go home, so I gave her another hug, said good bye, and off I went.

Now on the way back, I saw a friend of mine who works at a Trader Joe's in Santa Monica named Sydney. And as always, we had a nice conversation.

She has a really good blog called PEACOCK BRIDE, and I encourage all of you out there to go check it out.

The divine masculine is what is going to support the birth process of the new earth, which is being brought into manifestation by divine feminine. Thus, the new earth is a co-creation that depends on divine feminine and divine masculine both coming into its full respective power.

In our modern society, masculinity has been seen as a problem rather than something that should be embraced, because it is rare that any man exhibits true masculinity.

The only example of masculinity we currently have is the shadow side of masculinity. This shadow side of masculinity fuels the societal idea of competitive hierarchy. In other words, it fuels the idea that one person on top of another person.

The shadow side of masculinity perpetuates vertical thinking. Vertical thinking is comparative thinking; where it is possible to be better than or less than someone else. And so, the power struggle was born.

Divine masculine represents action, direction, movement, responsibility, strength, focus, fatherhood, the sun, generosity, encouragement, material abundance, clarity, intellect, transformation and growth.

The divine masculine is what is going to support the birth process of the new earth, which is being brought into manifestation by divine feminine. Thus, the new earth is a co-creation that depends on divine feminine and divine masculine both coming into its full respective power.

You need to be willing to heal your negative emotions relative to anything you identify as male to set the masculinity within you free. It is exhausting suppressing the essence of who you are. And so, it is time to quit suppressing who you are.

Now, I want to talk a bit about the Martial Art that I am a student of, Silat. And, because I hate to repeat myself, I decided to use the Wikipedia definition that's already on my sidebar.

FROM WIKIPEDIA, THE FREE ENCYCLOPEDIA: Silat is a collective word for indigenous martial arts of the Malay Archipelago and Malay Peninsula of Southeast Asia. Originally developed in what are now Indonesia, peninsular Malaysia, southern Thailand and Singapore, it was also traditionally practiced in Brunei, the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam. As a result, it is closely related to other Southeast Asian martial arts including krabi krabong and eskrima. Practitioners are called pesilat. The Chinese fusion of silat is known as kuntao.

There are hundreds of different styles but they tend to focus either on strikes, joint manipulation, bladed weapons, throws, animal-based techniques, or some combination thereof. Silat is one of the sports included in the Southeast Asian Games and other region-wide competitions. Training halls are overseen by separate national organizations in each of the main countries the art is practiced. These are Ikatan Pesilat Indonesia (IPSI) from Indonesia, Persekutuan Silat Kebangsaan Malaysia (PESAKA) from Malaysia, Persekutuan Silat Brunei Darussalam (PERSIB) from Brunei and Persekutuan Silat Singapura (PERSISI) from Singapore.
